Energy Star Heating and Cooling impressed me from the beginning, I never felt pushed or pressured into buying I had other estimates to see through before deciding and no hassle Tim an Jayne were a pleasure to get to know Tim's detailed explanation of the work to be done made it clear to me The price compared to others was very satisfactory, his installer Mike was a great guy and very professional. I don't normally take time to write reviews for service, in this case its well deserved I would highly recommend Energy Star Heating and Cooling.

He came out and serviced our AC that had stopped working over the weekend. It was an easy fix and he showed me exactly how to repair it myself in the future should it happen again with the drain. He explained what everything on the system does. We have a geothermal water furnace, which is complicated and confusing compared to normal AC units. He took his time making sure I understood how it works. He also helped me figure out how to solve the temperature difference between our main floor and the basement which is usually 10 degrees cooler despite all the vents being closed. We could put in a separate thermostat for the basement and it would easily solve the problem, if we had $2600. But he suggested as cheap alternative to use the white vinyl magnetic strips. Cut them to the size of our register vents on the ceiling to block out the air coming through even though the vents are closed. It will divert the air back up to the main floor. If we want some air, leave one or two open, or cut small squares in them to allow a smidge of air to get through. What a cheap and creative way to solve the problem. It was $75 because it was covered by our home warranty. Scott was a true gem!!!

I have used them before and they always did good work. They are reasonable. I would use them again.

The plan is much less than what I would have to pay to have a private technician come out. They do a good job. They are on time and professional.
