We were v, ery pleased with the insulation work, price, communication, and friendliness. We are new in the area and did not know who to contact a first for insulation services. We had just purchased a used 1995 manufactured home with a "cathedral ceiling" that had very poor 3" ceiling/roof blown-in cellulose insulation (but lots more open space available between ceiling and roof sheathing for more ) and no way to access the vacant space above the ceiling without tearing out huge sections of ceiling drywall (for foam insulation), or drilling a lot of holes (for blown-in) or tearing off the roof. None of which were good options for us. Denny came over and said he could actually get in through the soffits at the roof edge, all the way around the house, and with his long hose extension feed the insulation blower hose all the way up to the roof ridge and fill up each cavity by drawing the hose backwards as it expelled the insulation, from the peak down to the soffits. Which he actually did. I could hardly believe it. A very creative solution for a house not built with good insulation in mind or any thought of retrofitting/access. The positive difference in house warmth and furnace/propane usage was immediate. And the price was very fair, about 1/5 the price being quoted by other companies (for spray foam), or others who just shrugged and said "no way." Denny and crew also properly vented each cavity in the process, replaced dozens of soffit screens, and the crew cleaned up perfectly afterwards. They did the whole job on time, in just a few hours, and Denny actually charged less than the original quote because he was unable to fully access a few of the many ceiling bays due to cross-beams he discovered once the project was underway. I would never have known this (that they had to skip a few bays) and he could have charged the original price anyways. So I was impressed with the honesty and integrity. The D&N crew was a friendly, hard-working group who stopped to answer all my questions and seemed to actually enjoy their jobs. We were so impressed we had D&N come back a month later and insulate our crawl space (all block walls and rim joints) with spray foam insulation. Again, great work, on time (actually a day early!), friendly service. Now we're going to get them back a third time (!) to insulate underneath the floor of a guest cabin on our property with spray foam. 1920 home had ZERO insulation!! Dean and his team did a great job for an AMAZING price!! Walls, attic basement sills, under flooring in the crawl space, dining room window 'bump out' and a porch area I have converted to a pantry/laundry room. Some Blown-in, some batt and board and some spray foam. Thoroughly discussed why which insulations were the best choices for the areas we were remedying. Everything was clean and you couldn't even tell they had been here!! In and out in less than a day!! Had originally been told 4-6 weeks before they could make it out but we worked out a Sat and it was done within 2 weeks!! I am SOOO happy, can't wait to see how my NISPCO budget changes =-) I wasn't home, had to lock my kitties in a room and Dean even let my babies back out when they left!! I am also a Realtor and would not hesitate referring D&N to any one of my clients!!!

D & N Insulation owner Dennis his son Nathan and Gaitlin work as a team . Professional , caring to the request of there client . During them doing our attic Dennis came.down and I was concern of the furnace room of the coldness . Dennis advised of gluing insulation board to the wall and I agreed . So Dennis left the residence to buy the insulation needed for those exterior walls for improvement . When that furnace room got finished it is a lot warmer . Dennis is a good listener to the client . I would recommend D&N Insulation to family , friends etc...
