Abe's Complete Plumbing Inc

Hi my Dad that is 83 years old had this company come over to put in a pressure switch and rebuild the toilet. So at the end of the day I come 9ver to see how it has gone and that's where it goes down hill from there. It took 2 men 2 hrs to do this work they left all the trash and parts for the pressure switch laying around down by the well they didn't have the right switch which was a standard 30/50 pressure switch so two packages and one new switch and one old switch spread through out the area. They trompeld through the house and left mud and dirt. Wrote up like it was hard to disconnect the power which was 2ft away amd had to just unplug it. Then when they reconnected they did not use a cord grip where it inters the pressure switch. This should have only been a 1 hr job. Now to the toilet the bill states that they found the part in side toilet extremely rusty and needing replaced. How ever they only changed the flush tube and bolts that mounts the toiled to the tank. They left the old float and chain and water valve that does not operate right and gets stuck do to the rusty parts. They charged $438! A 185 a hr for not top price work. On top of this I called the next day to speak with the manager and he wasn't available but was told that right there she was going to pull the work order and he will contact me one week latter and no response. I wanted to give them a chance to right the wrongs!

They quickly located problem and stopped leak. However, a person being trained did not completely tighten valves and next time shower was used it leaked again. They quickly came back and tighten valves.

Company called and asked if it was okay to come a day early due to a cancellation, which was appreciated. Tank crew arrived called en route to advise of their ETA. Worked quickly and efficiently. Only negative was they did not rinse the interior of the riser, which they had done on previous occasions.

It took longer than we were initially led to expect for the plumbers to get to our house from their previous job, by maybe a couple hours. But they got here that day and did the job in one visit. I was surprised by how little it cost.

We got charged $65 for a 5 minute job. We were hoping to have the new dishwasher installed while Abe's was there but apparently you "don't do that". I spoke with someone about cancelling the appointment for this morning (Krista?) as my husband had to go to work early. Apparently the message never got conveyed as someone showed up as my husband was getting ready to leave. Thankfully they were only there for a few minutes. Unfortunately, that was the most expensive 5 minutes we'll never get back. Overall, we are very disappointed in the over charge as well as poor customer service.

The woman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to leave a check, so I wouldn't have to take a day off work.

I have used them prior to November and prier to that it would have been in the Summer sometime. They came out and did a well inspection for me. The reason was that we went ahead and bought our parents home and in the summer we were doing inspections and things to find out what would need to be done. We used Abe's, my parents used Abe's and them on Angie's List just made me feel more comfortable frankly because when I looked and Abe's had really good reviews, that was a no-brainer to continue to use them. They have always been true. They are very punctual, very professional but friendly service. I think we get good value for what the service is. I think highly of them. I know in the past my mom had to call them one time, it was January and it was knee deep snow and he went out in the back yard and probed and found the well to pump. It is those kind of things like that they never let you down, things like that keeps us going back. I would give them all 'A's on the grading scale. I absolutely will use them again in the future.

They were prompt and completed the necessary work at an affordable cost. They were proactive but not pushy.

First, the girls on the phone are extremely helpful and friendly. I actually had to cancel the first appointment and they were very understanding. They gave me a window and we made arrangements to have a check waiting near our septic, so I did not need to be home. They arrived inside the window and were there after I got home from work, which in this case was nice because I was able to discuss things with their technician. Overall, I was happy with the experience and will call again.
