S&B Painting and Remodeling

Outstanding! The work was of highest quality worksmanship, and we are extremely pleased with the final results. They were a pleasure to work with and consulted and advised us throughout the project. They were also quite creative in coming up with solutions to some rather challenging problems with the job. They were professional, punctual, extremely courteous and dependable.

The quality of work was superb, especially compared to other contracting businesses I've used in the past, and was finished right on time. My bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled. New walls, tub, vanities, floors, everything. It was flawlessly finished and just in case, Robert made sure to follow up and make sure everything was still functioning as intended a few weeks later. The price was fair and Robert genuinely wanted to give you the best product possible. I look forward to using his services again for any future work.

My husband (who is pretty picky) and I were both super pleased with Bob's work. They arrived on time, stayed late and got it done in 2 days, with very minimal mess and disruption to us. The quality of their work is excellent! We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of remodeling or repair. Only problem was they are so good, they are very busy. But they got us into the schedule as soon as they could.

Very good!! Highly recommend. Robert was professional , timelly, and respectful of our home. He worked with us as we developed our layout. He was willing to even come by a couple times before to assess the site and develop shared vision. He also developed good relations with our painter to create a timeline. We were getting faux finishing.... The work we had done was extensive and Robert was willing to be flexible with times and even plans... He even got to know our dogs well and let them in and out while he and his crew worked... The kitchen design we selected was from an online company. Robert had never install cabinets from an online company but was willing to give it a try. He even helped us with the measurements to make sure that we were on track. The kitchen was like it was highly intricate and finishing work was wonderful. We could not be happier with our final product. We definitely will use Robert again!!! Highly recommend.

Job went exactly according to proposal. S&B Painting was very accommodating, punctual, and thorough. Some of the wall prep was more extensive than it may have appeared before the work started, but the painters did a thorough job. Job was completed on time, and seems to be quite well done.

This large remodeling job was a first and probably last for me. I spent a lot of time choosing a company to do the work and I was concerned that I choose the right people. From the start I found Robert to be dependable and honest. He gave me a detailed estimate that he followed through with, there were no hidden charges thrown in at the completion of the job. The work that he and Ryan performed was high quality work that really looks great. Any additional ideas that I came up with or changes I made were dealt with without any problems and I did have quite a few of those. The work was also done in the time frame that was promised. I have their word, which I believe, that I can call anytime if a problem develops and they will come and resolve it to my satisfaction. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, for example when I would have to leave for work they had no problem with me leaving my two dogs in the house while they worked which made my life much easier. I would use S & B again if need be and I would recommend them to others.

Bob and Ryan not only saved the day but my whole Christmas Holiday! I woke up yesterday morning (the Thursday before Christmas 2013) to find that there was no water running in my house at all. That of course means no showers, dish washing, teeth brushing, pet feeding, plant watering and most importantly, no toilet flushing. Eww. I called every local electrician I could think of (some of whom never even returned my call) to get one disappointment after another. Almost everyone I talked to was overbooked because of the holiday and it looked like my wife and I were going to have to tough it out and hold our noses until after Christmas which was still 5 days away. Then I remembered Angie's List. I made a few calls but still no luck. Looking more and more bleak. My last call was R&B Painting and Remodeling. I spoke directly with Bob who was friendly, assured me that beyond painting he had many years of experience with remodeling and specifically electrical work. When I explained the situation he was empathetic and told me he would get out just as soon as he could, within a couple of hours. New hope! He and his assistant Ryan showed up right when he said they would. They quickly assessed the problem and found a creative and permanent solution which may well have saved me several hundred dollars if not more. I was so impressed with the work and comfortable with both men that I asked them to give me a bid on another larger project I had been putting off for years. I look forward to working with them again and would highly recommend them. So now I can let my kids know the waters running and it's ok to come home and visit for Christmas! Yay Bob and Ryan!!!

The men arrived always in good humor. They worked steadily until the job at hand was complete. They were sure to clean up the surrounding area upon daily completion. If there was a problem brought to their attention they made it right. We had 3 sessions of work done; Screened in porch, basement bathroom, and upstairs bathroom. The work by them was done expediently; the only delays were not their fault but the waiting on supplies to complete the projects. We are looking forward to them returning to do a kitchen update. We felt they were very fair in their cost and they were willing to lead us toward more economically cost efficient choices. We were pleased with the end result! Our home had not had major repairs for years and as with old houses many times one repair would lead to more repairs, but they were good to give us an estimate on the new repair and go with the flow so to speak! We were very content with their services and will continue to call them as soon as the summer visitors leave the abode!

we are very satisfied with all the work done. due to selling our house we had a variety of jobs to be completed. we called for an estimate and the owner was professional and very courteous from the initial phone call to the completion of the job. they took great care while in our house while they were working and left every spot as clean or cleaner than when they started. we are moving across country so i hope to find a contractor as professional and knowledgeable as this one. we have used others in the past and trust me you will not be sorry for hiring this company

It was great working with them. always showed up when they were supposed to. I'm still going to have them do more jobs for me.
