It went great. I would recommend them to anyone. They did a very good job.

The process went great.   They arrived at 7 am.   They put  tarps on  the lawn and placed plywood sheets over the windows, by 10:30 am the old roof was in the dumpster.   The crew worked  like a well oiled machine.  Everyone new what they were doing.
By 4pm the roof was completed , the area around the house had been cleaned up.  They even rolled the yard with a magnet for any nails that might have missed the tarps.   We were sitting at the kitchen table paying the bill  at 4:30 pm.
*** Just a note, our home is a two story just under 2400 sq. ft. part of the roof has a good pitch to it and the other part has a slant with 2 sky lights
 This was our first roofing experience and it could not have been better.   Everyone was friendly and very serious about the job they were doing.    Wish more companies were like Martorano Roofing

.Joe M. came and made the estimate and looked over the job. He arranged for the dumpster delivery and brought plywood  to protect the driveway from the dumpster wheels--we had not thought of that. The crew came as scheduled and started around 7 AM.By around 5:30, they were pretty much done. It seemed like a dozen guys were working, but I do not know exactly how many workers were present. Workmanship on the roof sheeting and shingle application was very good.The cleanup was done well, with only a few stray nails  remaining. One bad winter and one mild winter have passed, and we have no problems with the roof.
Joe and the crew were helpful and communicated well. All previous roof jobs I have had done involved much more disruption and mess, and they were not much less expensive. I recommend Mortorano without reservation. We found him and his crew to be very honest and professional. I fully expected additional charge for some sheeting and soffit repair, but we only paid the original esimate.

Job was done in one day.
The only thing that bothered me was the owner, Joe, had quoted a price to me when he wroteup the contract after viewing the building and what was involved of which I agreed to the price.
When I called him and told him I was going to sign the contract he stated to reduce it by $200,initial the new price, sign it and fax the contract to him, of which I did.
When the work was almost done he showed up for payment and quoted the original price of which I showed him the contract of the $200 savings he gave me and asked why he would agree on one price and then have me pay another.  He stated that more expenditures came upand stated he would have not done the job for the price on the contract of which he never notified me of until the job was nearly done.  I had no problem paying the original quote as long as I had signedfor that but feel this was very unprofessional on his part not to honor the final price he agreed on.
Because of this I would not hire his company again because I would have my doubts on the pricesigned for.  He should have accepted a signed agreed contract or talked to me about this beforethe job had been started.  I feel he lost referrals and any future business from me.

After recent storm damage, I had my roof replaced by Martorano?s roofing.  What a great job those guys did!  The new roof looks awesome.   I met them as I was leaving for work at 7:00 am.  I stopped back at 9:15 and they had already removed the old roof, replaced several plywood sheets, put on new drip edge, cut the ridge vent, put down roofing paper and ice shield, and put all the scraps in the dumpster.  I went up on the roof to check things out just before they shingled and the workmanship was excellent.  They are a really professional and hard-working crew.   According to my neighbor, they were done by just after noon.  When I got home, everything was cleaned up and I had a great new roof. 

The price was good and the owner, Joe Martorano, was helpful and easy to work with.  A couple of my neighbors who saw the crew working and saw the results asked for Joe?s number.  I would highly recommend them if you want great value, great workmanship and don?t want a roofing project to take three or four days as seems customary.

They tore off the old boards and replaced it all with a new roof.  Their price was good I remember that.  They were here when they were supposed to be here and they got done on the schedule that they said they would do.  The quality of work was good.  I was very impressed with their work.  The workers were very nice.  I will use them in the future.

It was a good experience.  Found a few nails but we have a lot of plantings around our house so they could not find them.

We had a great experience with Martorano.  They were thorough in their assessment of the problem, stayed in touch with regards to scheduling and were honest about what they found.  The final bill was slightly higher than the initial estimate, but given the nature of roofing, water damage and wood rot, it wasn't unreasonable.

From start to finish I would highly recommend Martorano Roofing.

Joe was professional from start to finish. His free estimate was thorough and he explained the work that was to be done. Given the bad condition of the roof he put our job as priority so as to save us any damage to the property. His team of 15 showed up on time and did a great job. His son Leo managed the project as Joe was not on site for the entire job. Leo was very helpful and took the time to explain what was being done and how long it would take. Despite the size of the job the only real evidence that they were here was the new roof. Their clean up was coordinated and thorough. We did find a few nails in the grass and some of the flowers and plants suffered slight damage, but overall they were organized/clean/respectful/professional. Very happy with the results thus far; no leaks with first rain!

Company showed up on time and performed the job quickly and did a very good job of cleaning up all the mess. We also had another company coat three flat roofs. A good while after the roof was replaced we experienced a leak under the edge of one of the flat roofs. We called the flat-roof company, they responded immediately and re-coated the area in question while indicating they didn't think the leak was coming from there. Awhile later, we had another leak in the same place. We called Mortorano' Roofing and he responded immediately, caulked a little where his roofing met a dormer, said again that it was a flat roof problem and called another company for us. They responded in a couple of days and showed me where Mortorano had 1) not put flashing between the roof and the dormer (Mortorano did put flashing in three other similar locations)and 2)had only caulked as far as he could reach without a ladder when he was here earlier.

MARTORANO ROOFING DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD FOR ME. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND THEY CHARGED WHAT THEY SAID IT WOULD COST.
