After initial contact, Phil with Lakeshore came out and provided a bid in a timely manner. Contract was signed, deposit paid and work was scheduled pending weather. As this is a second home, the work was completed without our being present, ahead of schedule. Upon inspection, we asked Phil to come out and take care of some issues with needed trim replacement. He was there immediately and the required work was completed without question or complaint, with a sincere apology for the problems. In addition, he adjusted the price downward to compensate. Mistakes happen, but how someone responds is reflective of the overall operation. Phil's responsiveness was outstanding.

The finished product I was looking for. I couldn't be happier and the advice was spot on. My place looks amazing. Lakeshore Painting provided impeccable workmanship and a professional team.

I had the work done and the paint has been chipping off.  I called to have it repainted and they said that we needed to sand it and they would come out and paint it.  I am not able to do that and have tried to call several times but no they are no longer answering.

Phil and his crew were great.  They were on time and polite.  Phil also took care of a broken gutter on the back of the house.

Estimate one day and the wallpaper removal and painting done the next.

The only real mistakes made on the job related to having them paint before other things were complete.  This resulted in a need to repaint some areas but that was on me not the company.  Phil went above and beyond to help move furniture, fixtures, electronics etc. and whenever asked he would help in just about any way.  The house looks great today.

Phil was on time which is important to me. He brought his son to help. Both were very polite and answered every question I had.

phil did a great job communicating his progress as the job proceeded and working around my schedule when we needed to meet. He was professional and courteous and took care to make sure I was happy with the results. He even grabbed a ladder during a rain delay and cleaned a plugged gutter on the house he was painting for me. Will definitely hire Lakeshore the next time!

The crew was very nice and courteous.  They cleaned the place themselves.  They were very friendly and lovely people.  I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Job went very smoothly with some weather delays. We put a deposit down to schedule and paid the balance upon inspection and completion. I was impressed that I was given a copy of their insurance and bond with the estimate and did not even have to ask for it. The owner and crew were very personable. Job took about a week to complete due to some weather delays.

Very good job. Cleaned up after themselves better than many other folks who make a mess doing jobs. Nice and friendly people. Good quality control by Phil. Covered everything so it wouldn't get dust or paint on it. When sanding they covered the entrances so that the dust wouldn't go into the other rooms. My wife thought it was cool that Phil sent a thank-you note for the business that had the same color as the paint they put on the walls.

A little slower than expected, job is done and happy about it

Phil came to our house, gave us an estimate, and began work that afternoon. He explained all aspects of the job. He was professional, and friendly. The entire job was completed in a timely fashion, and everything looks great! I will contact him for future jobs.

He was very good. He did a great job of matching the colors that I wanted. He was also very reasonably priced compared to the other quotes that we got.

The job went very well. We gave Phil the exterior job only at first - since we were doing other work inside the house, and that would be a much larger job. He did a great job, suggested a better color scheme for the deck and front doorway - which turned out looking much better than the original. If he found trim work that needed replacement - he advised me about it - instead of just painting over things. He replaced trimwork as needed, cut back bushes that were in the way, and filled and caulked as needed. And he kept me informed every step of the way if he saw anything else that needed attention. After that we gave Phil the interior job of removing all the wallpaper and painting all the rooms. Again he did an excellent job, and was very thorough. As neccessary he took down light fixtures, removed vanities, window treatments, etc. Every spot was patched, sanded, and painted and vacummed afterward. I kept adding on to the original job and feel I was given fair prices for the extra work that I requested. At one point during the process, Phil came to work and found our basement pump had gone out, leaving two inches of standing water. He was unable to contact me that morning - so he went out - bought a pump, installed it, and cleaned up all the water. Of course he did charge me for it - but that is fine. He took the iniative to fix the problem - so we would not incur further water damage. I am doubtful that many contractors would go to such lengths for their customers. All in all - his prices are competetive - not cheap - but he does a great job for the money. More importantly - he is honest regarding the work he is doing and keeps you informed of any problems he comes across. And the paint job looks fantastic.

The house he was painting was empty. He couldn’t get hold of me when he was painting the basement. The basement was filled with water. So, he went out on his own and got a sump pump. He installed it and also did the clean up work. He did this because I wasn’t unavailable. He knew that the work had to be done and he did it anyway. I never had anybody work for me, who went out of his way like he did. He did everything to set it right. He didn’t overcharge me, either. His prices were fair. I even told him to charge for the labor. He did excellent work. He has a small company, with six guys working for him. He makes the decisions.
