Window Service
I have spent thousands at Home Depot during the last 18 months for other window installation, appliances, kitchen cabinets, counter-tops, and a custom made wood garage door, no problems. The installation price for this latest 52" x 95" simple window now seems disproportionately high, so I attempted to get an explanation. My telephone calls were rarely returned, and a letter to Scott Baxter, President of Home Services didn't even warrant a reply. When I did eventually speak to someone the answer was always the same - too bad! Part of the explanation for high cost included something about paying $900 insurance in case the sub-contractor fell off a ladder! I understand that the final choice was mine and no misrepresentation was involved but it just doesn't seem right, certainly not what I expected from a national retail chain.

Sales associates were very helpful, and the computer-generated layout was a huge help to us in mapping out our new kitchen layout. This was done free of charge. We bought the cabinets out of their open stock and installed them ourselves. We found the staff to be very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.

HOME DEPOT MADE ME VERY HAPPY. THE MATERIALS ARE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AVAILABLE, AND I KNOW BECAUSE I SHOPPED AROUND FOR A YEAR BEFORE COMMITTING TO THEM. THE CONTRACTOR THEY SENT WAS AWESOME.

THE CONTRACTOR THAT HOME DEPOT SENT OVER WAS PROMPT, EFFICIENT, AND REALLY PLEASANT TO HAVE AROUND. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT HE DID, AND I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO HAVE HIM BACK.
