Had a patio door installed. Premier Windows System was great to work with. Tom was able to order the door and install within our time frame. The installer Matt was great and answered all questions I had pertaining to the door. Really enjoy the look and operation of the new patio door.

The roof was done in 2 to 3 days, replacing the wood was a little bit of a surprise, we knew some would need replaced, but it's an old house and it was under code, and we wanted it done right. Very efficient, cleaned up after the work was done every day, let us know day by day what was going on. Tony Kastelic (project manager) and Ron, the owner, great people. Ron came out and talked with us as well.

They were just excellent in every way. From the time Tom came out to make a bid and plan the project all the way through execution and clean up. Tom made excellent suggestions and recommendations, answered all of my indepth questions, and respected my decisions. The whole thing only took a coupke of days and they wete very respectful of the property. The cleanup was immediate and thorough. The new venting system keeps my hime much cooler. I am extremely pleased.

Chris and his 2-man crew were punctual, polite and as unobtrusive as they could possibly be. Job took longer than expected, but that was because of the bitterly cold weather & the difficulty in removing my 60-year-old windows.

My family and I had been talking about getting new windows for years, We had planned on getting the whole house done. I contacted Premier after speaking with them on Facebook, and with the sales manager and being made to feel comfortable, especially with no pushing and letting me get another estimate from another company and keeping in touch with me... So a guy came over to measure the windows, very nice, they said they were going to rush the windows because of having one window with no glass in it and had the other broken windows, I even called the office to make sure this was set up, so they knew all about broken glass as I needed these new windows asap. I contacted the sales manager the next day and told him I broke my foot/toe and I was worried about not being able to have the furniture moved and ready for them, he said they could help me, luckily a friend came over and moved everything and noticed the glass that had fallen from the broken windows and cleaned it up.. The installers came, one was very young, I was quite surprised he was working but thought that was good for him as long as they could handle the job, I pointed out my broken foot/toe to both installers and one immediately said oh yes that's broken you need to get that looked at. (which yes in fact it was and later on I did end up in a boot cast). They did their thing while I tried to relax, I was in so much pain. The men were nice however, they did seem like they were in a hurry to get out of here and get home, they said it was their last job of the day and they want to get home. In casual conversation since I paid cash and needed change which they didn’t have, they said they had never taken a cash payment before or changed a broken window before, I was a little thrown back at that but hey, I figured they knew what they were doing. I knew the guy wanted to get home, so I had him show me how to operate the windows, the one screen was not in place properly and they both had to try to get it back right, (which they didnt). Before they left, they told me I could let my animals out of my room now, so I thought everything was going to be ok. Now I am smart, I took pics of everything since I was not given any type of receipt other then something you go buy from a store, that was not going to fly with me, my baby macaw is quite curious and she walked across the floor and I grabbed her really quickly, and I noticed TONS of huge pieces of glass everywhere! And I mean everywhere, I have a white floor so I am just grateful that being in flip flops as that was all I could wear that I didnt get a piece of glass through my shoe. So here I am broken foot and all cleaning up their mess. There was glass in my sink as well, thankfully I saw the other mess first and went and checked everything or myself or someone that washed dishes in my sink would have had a huge not so nice surprise with a trip to the ER. I also saw the mess outside, the windows were installed on Tues because Mon the installer had an issue with the vehicle and rescheduled the apt, Sunday night,, my friend wheeled a cabinet to the back on that same sidewalk it was clean no broken glass, Monday the Lawn guy did the lawn there was no broken glass. It was loaded with broken glass after the install on Tues. So I had to clean all that up too,. I was told oh go let your animals out of your room, course they are going to walk around the house!!!!) The sales manager after trying to blame me said he would take care of this and work a resolution out. Wed we noticed a gap in the one window so I looked at it, and barely touched the gap to see what it was and it fell to the ground, We looked at the other window and the screen material was coming off I saw it in one place. So I sent a message to the sales manager and to the Facebook Messenger got sent back the first message saying to go talk to my atty that someone contacted them and they have proof it was my glass, AND THEY REPLIED, YOU MISSED YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU DIDNT ANSWER THE DOOR. And you better watch those false claims. This was to my message I said I will be talking to my attorney, I mean broken glass which could have caused harm, windows not being improperly installed to being blamed for everything, and insinuating I planted the glass, and filed false claims as I missed my apt by not answering the door! Next day I was sleeping I saw they called, they know I cant do morning stuff because I wake up with migraines, they know this first hand because I told them and scheduled afternoon apts. A knock at my door wakes me up at 11 my head is killing me, and a man a Premier Windows shows up to fix everything, which makes me wonder what would have happened had I not been woken up, He fixed the IMPROPER INSTALL that was done and found another part of the screen that was messed up and also found a bent up lock on the window, He also in fact told me that all that broken glass left behind and the screws and window pieces and even the companies tool, SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEANED UP by the company. Entire house WAS going to get windows.

So we had all of our house windows replaced late last Fall 2015. Tony from Premier came out and gave us a long sales pitch (lol) but we expected that - and it was informative. I am reviewing Premier now as we have lived through 3 seasons w/the new windows. As I recall there was a mixup w/timing on the install & we didn't have a full crew to put in all the windows (which were supposed to be done in a day). The full crew finally came and ended up working till like 8:00 pm so that meant we had to cancel our plans that evening. But I guess things happen. Back to the windows though - we initially had some latches not working properly. Both Premier and the window manufacturer themselves contacted us numerous times about fixing that. The gentleman from the window manufacturer came out and inspected EVERY window and fixed the latches. Then in the winter we had heavy condensation on the inside. I called the window manufacturer themselves and they asked me to get an inside thermometer and to set our whole house humidifier lower and that it was not from broken seals or anything. I figured as much but wanted to make sure. They told me to call them ANY time I have questions or problems. So I called again today - thick condensation on the outside of the windows but it is supposed to be 94 with a heat index of 106 today. They told me my windows are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing - keeping the humidity on the outside and glass panes are cool on the inside from air conditioning. Again, if I have any concerns, call them. They are SO responsive, polite and helpful. As far as the windows themselves - can I say my house is so much quieter! That was something I didn't consider. I have a fairly busy street running in back of my house and I can't hear it anymore. The manufacturer said kudos to our installer, who must have packed them very well with insulation (which I did see them doing). Also, my NIPSCO bill is literally cut in half. My NIPSCO bill in this hot humid weather could sometimes reach $400/month. My bill last month was $150. Seriously. I wish we would have bit the bullet and did this sooner. So I can only speak to my experience as being great with both Premier and their Manufacturer (which name escapes me now (but in Elk Grove Village). I would definitely refer to others.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], we are sorry you had a bad experience with Home Depot. Our sister company, R & J Construction did work for Home Depot however, Premier Window System, INC. never has. R & J Construction quit working for Home Depot in October of 2014 because of their issues with customers. R & J Construction was given work orders and could only perform the work that was issued in that order which is why R & J Construction severed their contract with them. The installation crew that did your job in 10/2014 was released right after your job and R & J Construction quit Home Depot at the same time. R & J Construction is not the company that went back out to your home, New Horizon is. R & J Construction was unaware of any issues and was not contacted. If your contract was with R & J Construction we could have had contact with you directly, however it was not and R & J Construction was unaware of any issues. The crew that R & J Construction let go remained with Home Depot under a different company. I did just investigate and they are currently not with Home Depot any more."

"We apologize you had to wait 4 months for a service on your windows. That is clearly not an acceptable time frame for a service issue. Our goal when we have to order parts is 2 to 3 weeks. Unfortunately when we have to order from the manufacturer we are at their mercy. Still, 4 months is ridiculous. When the parts come in we schedule the service completion appointment and do keep the parts in a drawer until the appointment time. Ronnie did look in the service drawer to see if we had some that we could use until we received your parts. We do have your file, I pulled it to check the dates and times of appointments and parts that were ordered. She did order your parts right after your initial appointment. The manufacturer did delay in sending them and she did pull them from another job to complete your service. I am glad you are satisfied with your service now but am sending you a check for dinner on us for your delay. Please except this as an apology. Sincerely, Joanne Lewis"

When I originally called, I explained that I was looking to replace a broken window in my second-floor master bedroom, as my 20-to-25-year-old window had a broken casement window operator.  I set up an appointment for an estimate.  Three days later, I met with Larry and explained what I needed.  My primary concern was making sure that the windows would look markedly the same on the outside due to HOA requirements.  Larry went through the options with me.  Initially, I was looking to replace just one window.  In order to ensure that it matched the other casement window in the room, Larry prepared a quote for another wood casement window.  He acknowledged that the price was quite high, and noted that vinyl windows were less expensive and more energy-efficient.  The price for two such vinyl windows was actually quite a bit less than one wood window.  Larry showed me a sample window, and I decided to order two vinyl windows with wood-grain interior.  I was told that it would take four to five weeks for the windows to be installed, given their current timeline.  We made a follow-up appointment for tip-to-tip measurements in the coming week, and I had the opportunity to raise additional questions and concerns, which were addressed.
Four and a half weeks later, I was contacted by Premier to set up my installation, which went very well.  It took approximately two hours for removal of the old windows and installation of the new windows.  The installers were polite and friendly, and did good work.  My driveway was the staging area for cutting of the wood interior and screen frames and, afterwards, you could not tell that anyone had been there.  The cleanup was impeccable.  There were two issues that were brought to my attention by the installers, which Premier had to come back and fix.  One of the wood interior pieces which had been pre-stained was found to have a hairline crack.  Another unstained piece was installed and they promised to come back and re-stain.  The other issue (ironically) was that the new casement window operator was not operational and needed to be replaced.  I was asked not to open that window in the interim.  The installers told me that they had contacted their manager and that Premier would be contacting me to schedule a follow up where these issues could be corrected.
Monday, five days later, I followed up with Premier by phone and it appears those issues were not in the system for follow-up, so the new crank had not been ordered.  I was a little frustrated, but was assured that the cranks arrive quickly once ordered.  I was contacted the next week for the follow-up, and the issues were rectified to my satisfaction.  In fact, that follow up took only twenty minutes, less than I had been expecting.
Overall, I was very happy with the professionalism of everyone I spoke to and interacted with at Premier.  I was a little frustrated that my installation issues had not been recorded in their system, but these things do happen and it shows the importance of following up.  The windows look wonderful and block out the ambient traffic noise even better than I had anticipated.  I hope to hire Premier again for additional windows in the spring.
Response from Premier Window Systems Inc
"We are so glad you are happy with your new windows and they help keep out the traffic noise. I am sorry you were frustrated with the 5 day delay. Our installers turn their paperwork in the next business day and we are closed on the weekends. Our staff does process the paperwork and the issues were notated on the installation completion form and parts were ordered. We are here to serve you so please call us anytime you need us. Thank you for your business. We hope to serve you again. Sincerely, Joanne Lewis"

The job was a bit delayed because of a very rainy season and an understandable backup of work because of all the rain.  When the rain finally let up, they did come and start the job just when they said they would, and it went smoothly.  All work was done as originally stated, and we were very satisfied with their work.  A roll off dumpster was provided for all the debris from the job, and after a complete clean up, the property looked like they had never been there.......and we had a beautiful new roof!

I picked three of the top rated in my area from Angie's List and Premier was in the middle price wise, but price alone is never the way to shop for services. I checked reviews, references and also assessed the level of professionalism and knowledge displayed by the sales person. I have a background in construction management and have a great deal more experience with sales people than the average consumer might have.
This is the second time I have used Premier for windows, the first was a rental property. At that house I installed the standard quality windows, I found them to be of a very nice quality. That was a bit of a dry run, so to speak, to see if I was happy enough with them to use them on my primary residence. Obviously I was indeed happy with the product and the installation at the first job.
The same holds true for the second job. At this house I stepped up in quality to the second tier, primarily because the windows were larger. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of these windows. Living as I have in a house built in the early 60's I have had to suffer with drafty single pane windows and triple track storm windows that would rattle like crazy in a storm. The rain storms we have had of late have caught me by surprise when opening the door because I just don't realise how bad it is outside, when I?m inside any more! No drafts no whistles no rattles, just quiet, wonderful. I have also noticed that these last few 80/90 degree days that the rooms that face west have much less radiant heat gain than they did before. So yes, I recommend Premier Window Systems.
Completed on schedule (one day), cleaned up properly. Returned to replace one latch (broken on delivery) two days after completion.
