JEFF'S MOVERS

Not happy with our move or Jeff’s Movers. They moved us around 18 years ago and we were very pleased with their service so contracted with them again. This time not so much. They did not use any tarps or runners in our lower level and stained the carpet, many things got broken and they had two long men (one 17) that were awful. Many boxes dropped, boxes marked do not stack on top got stacked on top of. The bill was almost $900 more than the highest range of the estimate. I emailed the company and no reply not even a phone call much less an offer to make things right. Gave them time since movers are so busy now but now its been a month. I suggest don’t use!

Beautifully. Easy to get a quote, which was realistic and very well explained. I move quite frequently and have used many movers. Jeff's will be my go-to in the future. On the phone, I was treated with professional, friendly and personal service. Follow up was timely and to the point. I had two men to complete the move. Both men were very conscientious about furniture, cleanliness and organization. They communicated well, listened to, as well as, addressed any concerns I had. More than anything, they were aware of the clock and did not milk it as have others I have contracted with. BTW, their quote was $500-800 less and the actual cost was less that the quote. They also cleaned up and helped one of my neighbors get unstuck. It was after the bad snow storm. This is a very good, family-run business. I will use them every time.

Perfect. They were on time, handled all the furniture pieces with great care. We were finished in 1 hour.

Crew of three men arrived on time and loaded entire contents of home in approx. 6 hrs. Floors were covered for protection. The men were very careful/cautious as not to drop anything or bump any walls. The owner Mike drove the truck up to the location in Mn and arrived the night before as to assure promptness of the delivered furnishings. Everything was offloaded in a organized manner and properly put in its place. I would definitely hire them again!

We moved before using 2 Men and a Truck. They came out, surveyed all that needed to be moved and calculated time and men needed. They were not available on the day we needed and went with Jeffs because of their rating here. The two men who came out worked very hard, but it took an entire day. This was definitely a 3 man job. I believe that 2 Men and a Truck also have better equipment to insure a quicker, more professional move and one that is easier on their employees. As I said the two men who moved were great and worked continually and very diligently, just needed another man and some better equipment.

This was my second move with Jeff's Movers and it went as smoothly as the first. I highly recommend them.

The guys were great. They were on time, friendly, and careful with our belongings. We could not have asked for anything more. We had to change our delivery date and they were very accommodating with that aspect as well. I would definitely recommend Jeff's Movers to family and friends.

They did exactly what they said they would: they called as promised, and they charged me as promised. The packer was fantastic! They worked with my time frame, both on picking up and delivering the belongings. Nothing was broken en route. They pointed out anything that was broken before the move, so we could agree and note that. They did have a breakdown while transporting, but I was the first to hear about it. All in all, they were terrific!

I was satisfied with the job that they did. They worked really hard.

I used Jeff's Movers for moving to a new home. They moved our large belongings, packed a few items, and placed our furniture in the places we desired at our new home. We were responsible for unpacking all of smaller boxes. I feel the price was reasonable. The staff was very friendly and professional. I am very pleased with the experience we had with this company.

They were only few minutes outside the two hour window for arrival. The two men were courteous and friendly. The items were carefully packed and padded. Care was taken on removal and delivery not to bump walls,etc. No time was wasted loading, in transit or unloading.

I would hire them again in a minute. My brother's both recommended them and I am glad they did. I was impressed with how proffesional and nice and clean and no nonsense they were and very repectful of my aunt's things and of me. They were on time and took care with all the furniture and belongings.

The apartment I was moving furniture to was on the third floor of a no-elevator building. Frank and Matt were just great about that and handled three very heavy, bulky pieces(and other things)with professionalism. My bid was for an hourly rate and they were very quick and pleasant. I saw them sweating; it wasn't an easy job.

They had great communication, were very professional and just an overall great experience.

I hired a 3-person team to conduct a move from NW Indiana to Chicago. The company was excellent from start to finish. They estimated the job well, arrived right on time, moved efficiently without breaking anything and were courteous and professional every step of the way. They made the move completely smooth and uneventful. I highly recommend to anyone needing a mover.

I was very pleased. They were early, and they got started right away. They were done loading the office in one hour. They broke down my L shaped mahogany desk and put it back together. They were very nice, business-like, and professional. I would use them again in a heart beat.
