Not only did it take him over two months to even start the work, but  then once he started it took several weeks to complete it. During these delays, he gave us ever manner of story imagineable: he lost his phone, all his guys quit at once, he was in the hospital with heat stroke, etc, etc. Then, he took additional money to buy corragated roofing to cover our porch, and he just disappeared.  He never finished the remainder of the work on the fence, and he never touched the roof.  We sued him and won a judgment. He never appeared in court, never responded to any of our attempts to contact him, never responded to our attorneys, either.  He filed bankruptcy after we sued him, but the court exempted our claim from the bankruptcy because he had committed fraud against us.  Now we are trying to get a lien against his truck, his house, whatever.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!!!!!  He will lie through his teeth and take advantage of you. He has some story about supposedly being an Iraq war veteran, but I don't believe it because I've never known a service member to treat people with such disrespect, plus he's grossly overweight.
