I reached John on my first attempt. He has delivered wood to me in the past and remembered my location and where I wanted the wood stacked. The 2 ricks of wood were delivered on time. The wood is seasoned and burns well.

We are happy with this firm. The wood was excellent, well seasoned and it burns greatly. They missed the first delivery but were easy to contact and responsive. They neatly stacked the wood and again were very responsive to our calls.

His team pulled up. I showed John where I would like the wood and within 15 minutes I had an art piece in my back yard.  The seasoned wood was dry, uniformly cut and stacked beautifully.
Very pleasant team.

I did not give John an excellent because he promised he would come on a certain day and did not. He called that night at 9p to apologize and did come the following day. I know stuff happens, but he could have called to say he was not going to make. 
$100 seemed a little steep for firewood. Had he not blown me off, he would have created $100 worth of value in delivering and stacking the wood.

Update 11/25/2014) Trying burning the wood for the first time and it is wet. John did not promise seasoned wood, so caveat emptor.

I called John on Halloween 10/31/2014 at 1:15 in the afternoon and left a message. He called me back at 1:17 and said he could deliver the firewood today. I said I had to be at work at 3:30 so maybe we should schedule it for another day. A big white truck shows up outside my house just before 2 o'clock, five guys jump out and start hauling the firewood around back. The wood is beautiful! Uniform in size, cut and stacked to perfection. Everyone was friendly and swift (took maybe 20 minutes). Just top notch experience. I wish I could insert a picture of the stacked firewood...it looks that good!

The provider was prompt in responding to email questions through Angie's list.  He responded quickly to phone calls and delivered the same day.  He even called that evening to make sure the delivery went well.  Would highly recommend!!!

We've used them before.  The job overall went well.  Their service, professionalism and clean up was all really good.

My husband and I bought a house with a very large, dead tree in the backyard. Limbs had already started falling off and we were afraid the next big storm would be enough to bring the tree down on the house. John and his team were able to schedule us in within a couple of days to remove the tree. And not only did they remove the tree, but they left the yard cleaner than they had found it, left us a pile of neatly stacked firewood (which we had asked them to do) and ground down an old stump in the front yard.
John and his team exceeded our expectations. We've already recommended them to friends and would use them again if we ever need another tree removed.

It was delivered 4 hours after I first called them.  I would definitely call them again.

Excellent service. Called at 8am and delivered and neatly stacked good quality, nicely split wood at 2pm same day.

These guys were awesome.  I called in the middle of our continuous snow storms and they were out the next day delivering and stacking my firewood.  In addition, I noticed Mr. Wright had a plow on his truck so I asked if he would plow the giant snowbank the city plow made at the end of my driveway.  Not only did he get rid of the snowbank, he plowed my entire driveway.  Had I known he was going to do that, I would have paid him more.  
I will certainly use these guys again!!

he responded to my call quickly and delivered wood in a timely manner.   The firewood is uniformly cut and all hardwood.  It burns well.  This is the third year that we have used this provider.

They did a great job, came out the next day and I would use them in the future.

We ordered one rik and within two days, they delivered and stacked it for us in our wood rack. Quality of wood is excellent. Well seasoned hardwood. Amount delivered was spot on. Will definitely call again!

The Wright brothers and their crew were very professional and did a fantastic job. They were hired to remove four trees. Three were dead--or dying--ash trees, some 50+ feet tall, and one was a cherry tree that had really bad termit damage inside a tree hollow at the base of the trunk. Two of the trees were leaning precariously towards my house! During the initial estimate, John Wright was very helpful with explaining the issue with the trees in my backyard (this can NOT be said in regards to the numerous other estimates I received from other companies), and afterward, showing me the damage caused by the ash borer. They utilized a bucket truck to take down all the trees. Also should be noted that John trimmed back some nearby tree limbs of a few other trees at no charge.
I had requested to keep some of the downed trees as firewood, and that they move it to my back porch. After they had sectioned the trees with their chainsaw, they promptly rolled two dozen logs (a mix of ash and cherry) to my back porch.
As they were getting close to leaving, I spoke with John and requested he remove one of the tree stumps in the middle of my backyard. This was not part of our original agreement, so I was unsure if he had the time to take care of it. Without hestitation he said yes. I felt this was very classy and it was obvious he wanted me to be a satisfied customer.
Upon completion of the job, there was plenty of debris in my driveway and backyard, which I thought might be on me to clean up, or at least I accepted that they wouldn't be able to get it all taken care of, but their crew did a great job using leaf blowers and taking care of everything (they even took care of the debris on top of my roof!). I was very satisfied with their professionalism and work ethic, and, in addition to this, their patience, as they had to deal with a particular neighbor of mine--and did so graciously-- who apparently felt they came out to HER house instead haha!

A Bradford Pear tree in our front yard was blown down by storm on August 31st 2013 On Saturday I called John Wright and he said he didn't normally work on Saturdays but he could come over in the afternoon. He showed up at 1 pm with his truck and large chipper. John and another man quickly put all of the tree debris in the chipper and then raked the yard and swept up every piece of debris in the street. When they finished in about 50 minutes - you could not tell that there had ever been a Tree had fallen in the front yard. John Wright was very pleasant to work with and I will always recommend he to anyone I meet.
