Description of Work: I had purchased a wonderful home in the Cincinnati Area that had great location, great layout but bland decorating on the inside. Kate and her team were able to come to Cincinnati, meet with me on several occasions and come up with a plan that suited me and my husband. We have entertained guests almost every weekend since the move and everyone and I mean everyone is just in awe of the house.

Description of Work: Help me pick out floor color and Kitchen cabinet colors

Description of Work: She helped coordinate flooring, paint colors and drapes for the bedroom.

Description of Work: Kate started our work with a paint color consultation. She helped me choose warm, inviting tones, that I would have never selected on my own. She pulled together a cottage chic look using all of my own furniture, reusing items from different rooms and or locations. Then she did her "magic". On a simple budget she shopped for details to bring the look together. Pillows, baskets, greenery, lampshades, and some new wall art completed the cozy, livable look. While our consultation fee only converted her hourly work, Kate was very respectful of my budget requests.

Description of Work: Kate helped us decorate our new home when we downsized and relocated. She incorporated family pieces that we wanted to use, but she also helped us select new furniture to give our home a fresh, updated look. Kate worked with us through the internet and telephone while we were away for the winter. She had most of the project completed when we returned, and we are very pleased with the outcome. Description of Work: Kate found me a wonderful outlet for a chair. Great price. Delivered to apartment. Then she also arranged for cushions to be covered for another chair at a very good price.

Description of Work: House decor redesign

Description of Work: I have hired her for interior decorating of practically my whole house.

Description of Work: I received a gift certificate for one-and-a-half hours of Kate's services. Having never used a decorator before, I was unsure of what to expect but needed help completely updating our two unused bedrooms to make them attractive and comfortable for houseguests I was expecting for the holidays and in the future. I had completely ignored the rooms since moving into this house after our two kids left the nest. Kate was excellent at helping me narrow down color choices (bringing lots of wall-paint samples) to coordinate with the exisiting room rug and furniture I wanted to keep, and gave me enough ideas on our first meeting that I was off and running doing the shopping! I would email her pictures of various bedding choices I was considering and ask for her feedback and she was very prompt and helpful in her replies. She also gave me suggestions on affordable retailers for accessories (after all, these were not bedrooms that were going to be used every day so I didn't want to spend a fortune on lamps, decor, etc.). In the end, these two bedrooms turned out beautiful and I was so happy to welcome our guests to them over Thanksgiving! I was lucky to have the gift certificate but would definitely use her again at my expense because she is very good at suggesting ways to refinish and repurpose what I already had, as well as offering to refinish pieces herself should I decide to do so.

Description of Work: Kate has helped me stage several listings that I have. She also assisted me when I moved into my own home, she helped me pick wall colors, furniture arrangement, decorating ideas and window treatments.
