I had an old irrigation system that had not been updated or adjusted in some years. They came and fixed broken heads, moved some sprinklers, and spring started the system.
I was not home when they performed the work. I opened my garage so they could get to the controller. By the time I came home everything was complete. I could not even tell they had moved some of the sprinkler heads in my yard. I am not sure how they were able to not damage any of my yard in the process but they didn't! The system works great now. I had no idea my system was working so lousy until they fixed it and I could see the difference.
These type of companies are extremely busy this time of the year and many I called did not even respond back. I appreciated that they have responded to each of my contacts with them.
Steve and his crew did a great job. They were punctual, thorough, professional, and easy to work with. The crew building the fire pit was receptive to our concerns and changes during the project. After completion, there was an issue with the construction and the crew came back and fixed the problem within a few days.
We would recommend Steve and Good Nature for Landscaping services.
The first two bids were within $500 of one another in price and included using man-made concrete based materials. When asked why the bids were so high for a space so small, each answered that the problem was that there would be no easy way to get materials from the front of our house to the lake side without negotiating the very deep slope. Labor was the and quot;killer.and quot; (We even explored the possibility of hiring a barge to bring in stone and take out dirt.)
Steve of Good Nature was our third and final bidder. We showed him the problem area, expecting similar concerns. He commented that landscaping is always hard labor, which is one reason why people are hired todo the work. He saw no special problem with our job. He drew a plan which involved using natural stone and when the bid came in it was just over half the other two companies' bids!
Good Nature's crew was prompt, courteous, hardworking and meticulous. They trimmed the tree and shrubs that were to remain, moved some perrenial plants that could be reused in other places, dug footings and removed many wheelbarrowsful of sod and dirt. They then began cutting stone and building a walk along the seawall, stairway (to the hose outlet) and retaining walls on both sides of the steps and backfilling the retaining wall. They then removed a 40 ft pine that had been planted too close to the house and had begun encroaching on the foundation, removed its stump and the chips from that and took away all debris.
The installed new downlighting along the wall and uplighting through the tree and laid down redwood mulch through all of the area that they'd worked on,leaving us with a beautiful pallet on which to paint a softscape of annuals and perennials come spring.
We could not be happier with Good Nature Inc--one of the best AL listees we've ever worked with!
WE HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS TO GO WITH THIS, BUT I COULD SEE NO WAY TO UPLOAD THEM!
All told we are thrilled with the paver patio. Very good workmanship, a fair price (Steve even waived an upgrade fee on one item), clean and prompt service, and more important, the whole crew really seemed to care about the project. It was a pleasure to deal with Good Nature, especially Tracy and Steve, and will use them again for any landscaping needs we may have in the future.
