Automatic Gates and Access Control

At the beginning John McGee was professional and helpful, and advised us on the best products to purchase. They then installed a swing gate with internet gateway and keypad, and attempted so set up two automobile remotes (per their quote). They had to come out a couple times to set up the gate correctly, and were initially responsive. They have not provided working remotes, however, and have not responded to our requests to correct for two months. At first they said the remotes they provided did not work because they were getting interference from an ultrasonic pest controller in our yard, but still did not work after turning those off and resetting. John then promised to drop off a new set with different frequency, but never did, and then ghosted us, never responding to our texts, calls and emails asking for an update. We paid in full, but they did not complete the job and customer service was horrible after the first couple interactions.

Working with John was like working with a friend rather than a stranger. From the first moment he arrived, he listened to my needs & offered several solutions/options within my price range. This company is extremely customer focused and I would highly recommend them

I wish I could give an A+++! Working with John was a great experience. I didn't think I'd be able to afford an automatic gate after I got an estimate from one of the major fencing companies in town. John was able to create a beautiful gate within my budget, and got the work done in basically a day. He's got so many creative ideas, and he really listens to your concerns. Working with him, it was clear that our satisfaction was the most important thing. He is such a delightful person to boot, icing on the cake! I highly recommend John for any gate needs (and he does all kinds of other things too, such as security camera installations). We'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Wow - this gate is amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with our finished product. We wanted a driveway gate and were finding it very hard to find someone who specializes in this so we felt very lucky when we found John McGee. We contacted John about installing a driveway gate and we had 2 purposes for this: to keep our dog in and to add curb appeal. John is from Alabama but works all across the midwest, so we talked about the project before he actually came to Indy. Once we decided we definitely wanted to move forward John came to our home and started the project. First they installed 2 large cedar posts, both in 1000lbs of cement. Then came the trench work - they trenched almost 600 feet up to our house so they could run the power from the house to the gate. We had to wait for the gate parts to be ordered but to our surprise he received the materials early and was able to finish the project a week in advance! They came back to finish the gate, adding the gates, keypad and operating system. The gate works perfectly and looks absolutely amazing. The keybad holds up to 25 codes - we also received 5 door openers. It has an automatic exit when leaving the property and we can adjust the amount of time the gate should stay open. The cedar gate itself was $3500 but there is are additional costs for the operating system, keypad, trenching, & door openers. John is also able to add cameras and lights by the gate for added security. You can add all types of features like opening the gate from your cell phone! John was a delight to work with and he showed us lots of pictures of the different style gates he builds himself - they are all beautiful pieces of art. If you are looking for a driveway gate whether its to add curb appeal, security, keep in pets or just to admire, look no furthur, John is the best.
