The process of obtaining the unit went extremely smooth and quick.

I've called them since to use them but decided to stuff the items in my garage instead.

I feel like their charges are within reason. I have been satisfied with them. They always do an amazing job.

Took tour of storage units for size to store personal items while new house is being built. Initially went with smaller unit and then upgraded as we started to move. Ameri-Stor transferred lease with no hassles.

We had decided to move and needed storage space as we were determining whether to sell or rent our house. I went over on a Saturday afternoon in May and the owner worked with me to get a space that worked at a good price. We were also in the process of closing up a family estate and knew we would be getting some furniture from it as well. I wasn't sure if the unit we rented would be big enough in the end. The owner indicated they would work with me on pricing if we ended up needing an additional unit. We finally closed out the estate in August and at the last minute I realized we needed an additional unit. The manager worked a good deal for the extra unit and got me taken care of quickly so I would have the space when the movers arrived with our furniture. The facility is very clean, well-lit, and has good security. My experience there so far has been great.

-1-Their exit policy is terrible. You must exit within 5 days of the end of the month. Not quarterly or on the 15th of the month like some the other storage places, where you could exit and get a refund. So if you are moving and things happen at the beginning or in the middle of month, you have to either leave your lock on or take it off and let them re-rent your storage unit and make double it. If you miss exiting in this window, you are paying for another month. -2- They removed their pay-in-advance policy in order to enforce the above exit policy. We had moved in by paying in advance for one year and they gave us one month rent off. This policy has been removed. -3- No trash facilities. We did not find this out until we got moved in and were sorting stuff out and had to haul our trash and larger items out for disposal. -4- No and ldquo;recycleand rdquo; center where you can donate items for others to take. Our new storage provider does this and it seems like a good idea. -5- Adviceand hellip;I would not go back even if they are clean and new. They do not seem to be caring of their customers. It is better to get your stuff organized to where you do not have to use an extra storage facility.
