I ordered a storm door from Menards.  They gave me a list of installers.  Afer reviewing the installers on Angie's List, I contacted Brad to get a quote.  He was very nice and easy to talk to.  He offered to pick up the door from Menards, which was a relief for me because I didn't know how I was going to get it home. He told me to call him when the door arrives and we'll schedule the installation.
I called Brad as soon as Menards contacted me to let me know the door had arrived.  We scheduled the installation - he was at my house installing the door within two days.  The quick turnaround time was a nice surprise.
It was obvious that he has done this before.  He removed the old door and installed the new door like it was second nature to him.  He gave me information and tips about the door itself, which I found enlightening.  And to top it all off, he took the old door away - again, one less worry for me.
Brad was professional, courteous, and quality-oriented.  I would use him again.

Picked up doors for me. Showed up on time and preformed the work. He cleaned up and it looks good.

We were VERY pleased with Mr. Bales.  He was punctual, polite and did great work.  My husband and I had a miscommunication over the purchase of the screen kit for our new sliding door and Mr. Bales went up to Menards and brought it back for me so I dind't have to load up the kids and deal with it.  I had some nice conversations about his work with Habitat for Humanity as well. He took our old slider and donated it to them, which was great.  It saved us the hassle of trying to get rid of it and loadit/unload it (and potentially breaking it).   It's nice to meet someone that has a kind heart and helps others?rare find these days.  He was 100% trustworthy, did a great job and we would refer him to others and use him again in the future.

The work was fine.  We also hired him to install the Pergola and that's going really slow.  He is not aggressive in going out to actually start the process.  He has the money for three weeks.  He did a good job with the door replacement.  We hired him again to put in the pergola and he is not aggressive with getting the job done.  He is a very personable guy and did a quality job with installing the door.  We don't like is the lack of getting the next job done.  He seems to be very knowledgeable about the doors.  We need to see if he is good with installing the pergola.

He did good work, and I have been happy with him.  I have requested an estimate on some work I need done in my duplex that I rent out, he has stated that he is unable to give me a quote until he tears off some siding and can look underneath it.

It is always a pleasure to talk with Brad- he is what I call a true Hoosier. He shared with me various doors through his magazine, and allowed us our time to make a decision. We ended up with an oak, door. Brad even went with me to pick out a door handle and a lock from lowes. Great guy all around, and will have him back to put in a few safety doors.

Everything went perfectly, with a home settling can cause alignment issues with doors and Brad has a solution for the little bit of settling our house had, Brad was on time, professional, got right to work, completed the job very timely, the door looks great!

Brad went above and beyond on his work.  Not only was he very careful in not making a mess, but when my husband inquired about a header, he installed one for us even though that is something he doesn't typically use.  Brad made sure the quality of work done on our home was the same quality he would want on his own.  I would highly recommend Brad to anyone needing new doors installed.

Almost immediately, Brad (the owner of S.B. Bales Company) came out to my house to give me a quote on replacing my French Doors.  He took exact measurements of my old doors which were customized.  I told him without a doubt I wanted specific brand doors.  With that he called one of his contacts on the spot, gave them the measurements of the old doors and got a cost of the new ones immediately.  He separately gave me his quote for the installation.  I received 3 quotes all together from contacts off of Angie's List.  Brad offered an alternative solution without compromising the quality of the doors with the same features.  He saved me a considerable amount of money in contrast to the other quotes by obtaining a 2nd quote for "regular size" french doors then adjusted his installation figures for a rebuild around it to fit exact in the area needed.  Thank you Brad!
Brad and his contact dealer came to the house, re-measured then they both collaborated on the best way to approach the project.  This was great because I had the dealer there who went over the features that I wanted then I ordered from that point.
Communication with Brad was terrific too.  He called me a couple days before the french doors were to arrive.  He checked with my calendar then confirmed his end for installation.  He was at my house, prepared his area and started his tear out.  The truck arrived on time and Brad was ready for the install.   
Brad's quality of craftsmanship and his eye for details are impeccable.  He's personable yet meticulous and has outstanding standards that surpassed my expectations.  What I mean by that is he goes that extra mile.  The blinds inside the doors weren't quite right which wasn't part of his job, but like I said, Brad goes there and fixed it on the spot with the dealer on the other end of the phone.  He went that extra mile and made some door stops for the outswing.  I believe He wants to walk away with everything as it should be as if he were the customer.  This says a lot about his character.
The replacement doors look absolutely gorgeorus and I can't visually see any difference in "size" from my old custom french doors!  It's flawless.  How did he do that?  The doors have all the same safety features that I needed without the hefty price of a customized door.  Brad is an honest, reliable professional  who takes pride in his craft.  Am I a happy customer?  You bet I am!  With my upcoming projects, it's a relief to know who to call.  His consideration to reduce costs where applicable without compromising the end result has my attention and appreciation. He is a great find and I'm so glad I went with him and his choice of dealer.

Arrived on time and went straight to work. He ran into problem with a raised slab outside the door which required him to approach the project from a different angle. Final result square and plumb, offered advice on several other projects we are considering.

I spent around $700 on the doors. I didn?t have any problems with them. They were very professional and had great quality. I will use them again in the future.

I bought the storm door from a windows and doors company and SB Bales was their sub-contractor. The fellow was here on time. He knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly installed the door and was very careful to make sure that the door opened and closed properly. He was very good. It was just one experience for me. He knew everything what he was doing and he came and got it done quickly. He removed all the used materials and took them with him. He cleaned up after himself excellently.

Service was excellent. Will always use them for any door installation I need done. I have already recommended someone to him and they will be using Brad to install their doors.

I purchased French doors for my patio area and a hardware store recommended Brad Bales. I called and he came out and installed the French doors. Something went wrong with the sill and it had to be replaced. Brad did this free of charge and then he installed the rest of the interior doors.
