Due to weather, it took awhile for Rodney to come. The weeds are dying and the lawn looks better. I hope he continues the service.

Right now everything is on hold. They did give me the claim number for DuPont but there has been no response from their insurance company. So I am left paying all the bills.

This is the second year we have used RJM for lawn fertilization and we are very happy with the results. They are careful about treating at the right time to get the most out of the application. Our lawn looked better this spring than it has for several years. The price is also much more reasonable than what we have paid in the past. RJM also takes care of our trees periodically.

They are very professional. Rodney is very, very knowledgeable. The majority of his business deals with the fertilization of lawns. He is all-organic, because we're on the lake. That's one reason that he's probably pricier than other companies in the area, but it's better for the environment.

I sign a contract with them every year. If I have any problems I call them and they come out with a solution. My neighbors have all been saying that I have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood!

This is the second year Rodney Baker has treated our trees, after losing a big white pine to insects in Spring of 2007. He is an arborist who stays current on insects occurring in the area and the proper insecticides to treat for them. He proposed an 3-part annual preventative treatment program for this year, but only did Spring and Fall applications since the threat of damage was not high in the Summer. We appreciate his cooperation with our interest in not using more chemicals in our yard than is absolutely necessary to maintain it in a healthy state.

RJM was recommended to us by Griggs Tree and Landscape, whom we have used for tree work in the past, because they no longer have an arborist on staff. We were favorably impressed with Baker's knowledge and professional manner. The only improvement in the experience would have been for the treatment to have been done right after the diagnosis, but weather and his crews' other commitments prevented it for several days.
