They did a good job, they probably have a little quicker and get things done, they did an excellent job.

See above - entire experience was a disaster

We were very dissatisfied with our experience. We had the work completed under our home warranty, and the warranty company faxed them the required information 3 separate times. Supposedly the paperwork was lost 2 of the times by Galloway Beck. As a result, it took several days to even get someone to come out to the home. They ordered the part. Nearly a week after the part was ordered, I had to call them to find out the status, and I was told that "someone" was supposed to call me to tell me the part was in and to schedule an appointment to get the part replaced. On the day they were coming to replace the part, they showed up over 3 hours late and did not call in advance to explain the change in schedule. I had to call them to find out what was going on. When he finally arrived, he realized that the wrong part had been ordered. The cycle started again. Would never recommend this company to anyone. In addition to the above problems, they did not pick up scraps on the floor from the maintenance they had completed.

They installed some duct work a new flue and a new energy-efficient furnace. It took them longer than expected to get the work done, and they had to come out several times to correct some problems. The problems weren't big, but my confidence in their abilities was shaken. Despite the problems, I suppose I'd use them, but I would check around first.

The first time they did it wrong and when I called them back out to fix it again they charged me double. They did fix it the way it was supposed to be fixed but they overcharged me. Then the next year I had problems with my toilets and the fellow they sent out neglected to put a washer in one toilet and flood my bathroom causing a big mess. The insurance had to pay for that and I did not have to pay a deductible because Beck's had to pay that. My advice to other Angie's List members is to do a background check on them before hiring them. They used to be a good company but in my opinion they have really gone down. I hope to never have to use them again in the future.

It was under a home warranty, so the price probably did not apply. They were pretty good to work with, but were probably not as punctual as I would have liked in terms of it being hard to arrange the appointment.

Called Galloway-Beck Pluming b/c referred to them by the Home Warranty company we have a contract with from buying our home. They scheduled us and came out and did a quick replacement. Easy to use and work with. Only had to pay $100 deductible from our Warranty. Will gladly use again.

I HAD 7 WINDOWS INSTALLED IN TOTAL FOR THAT LOW PRICE. THE WORKMEN THAT THEY SENT OUT (CHRIS AND TROY) WERE THE BEST; THEY WERE ONLY HERE FOR 4 AND A HALF HOURS AND I DID NOT HEAR ONE SWEAR WORD OUT OF THEM.
