Writing this for my mom, Julie Busbee who ordered their Premium Topsoil on Saturday April 26th 2025. Extremely dissatisfied with the "Premium Topsoil", if you can even call it that. Got a load delivered and was assured on the phone, this was the right stuff that is perfect for growing vegetables and use in raised beds. Website says it's rich in organic materials and is mixed with compost. There's very little organic materials and no compost. It's basically sand and is really hydrophobic. It doesn't take water. I held a hose on it for 5 minutes and it took almost 40 minutes for it to absorb water only 1/4 inch deep. Said they won't take it back because it was accepted at delivery. This is very deceitful and borderline fraud. $200 for basically fill dirt that is advertised as a prefect growing medium. Yet they insist this is the right stuff. Stay far away from this company.

This was my first order from Forest Commodities, and I'd say that it went very well! The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. I had initially planned on picking the mulch up, but the delivery cost was lower than I had expected, so I decided to have them deliver. I contacted the office in the afternoon, and the mulch was delivered first thing the next morning, right where I asked them to put it. Also, the quality of the mulch seems top-notch, its a very consistent color and size. It was also very clean, I didn't notice any debris mixed in. I'll definitely be using them in the future.

The website advertised clean kiln dried or seasoned firewood. Received debris filled rotting compost wood. The owners only solution was for me to load 3 ricks of fire wood in a pickup truck and return the wood I paid to have delivered. I do not own a pickup truck or any equipment to haul wood. The very reason I paid a premium for delivery.
