We recently used Chimney and Masonry Outfitters who were recommended by our phenomenal general contractor, Rick Hamilton of Hamilton Homes, who did our remodel years ago. Our 95 y.o. brick chimney was leaking after having a gas insert installed. They replaced several layers and added several new courses of brick on our steep, 2nd story. Be advised that nothing, in- or outdoors, relating to a chimney is inexpensive. Chimney and Masonry Outfitters does fireplace repair and replacement, masonry repair, design work and sweep chimneys. We worked with Paul at (317) 948-9899. [*** Link removed ***] They were professional, meticulous, and good communicators throughout the process taking care of our front patio and landscaping as they dismantled the top of the old chimney.

I contacted Dan regarding the work we required. He gave me a quote and even when our timing hit a snag, closing was delayed on the house by 2 weeks, he was accommodating. When they arrived, the crew went to work immediately, no wasted time drinking coffee or chatting. We had three trees to the south of the home removed, stumps ground down, 2 trees in the front yard shaped, a tree in a bad spot removed and a very large 150 year old Oak shaped and the limbs overhanging the neighbors garage removed, much to the neighbors delight. They did the work quickly and efficiently. I'd HIGHLY recommend using Dan Sizemore and Affordable Tree Expert for any and ALL tree removal, stump grinding and tree trimming services.

Fantastic Job! Dan and his crew came out same day as called and removed a (55ft +) tree which was cracking and ready to fall at any time. Even saved the baby raccoons hiding in the tree! Removed all of the tree limbs and debris, great clean up job. Dan and the crew were very professional, friendly and knew exactly how to take down the tree safely. Definitely will hire them again.

Dan and his crew did a great job. The rain caused some delays but he got the job done as soon as he could. He did it at a much better price than other crews and much quicker. I will definitely use Dan (Affordable Expert Tree Care) again...and I have given his business cards to my neighbors.

Danny answered the phone himself, not an answering service. Very pleasant to talk to. My Mom had hired someone before a couple of years ago she saw in her neighborhood to trim some trees. The job they performed was not good at all and ruined a couple of trees. This time around she wanted me to find a more trusted source on Angie's List. I called Affordable Expert Tree Care and the owner answered, set up a day and time to come out. (Within a very reasonable time frame). Danny and crew came out, they were very nice, professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They were nice enough to give some great tips to help out until they came out again in the future. We will be using them for any future jobs we need and will make sure we refer them to all of our family and friends! You wont be disappointed when you call this Company!

The workers were fantastic. They worked hard for over six hours cutting down a diseased ash tree and two other smaller trees. The stumps were removed and the trees were cut into firewood. The crew cleaned up and I was very happy with the work that was done.

The day went OK. The crew cleaned up most of the branches, although some smaller ones were left after one of the larger trees was felled. They did a very good job on removing one tree that was in tight quarters, near the house.

It was difficult to get scheduled with the rain messing up their schedule, but the planets finally aligned and the crew more than made up for the hassle by doing an excellent job and spotless cleanup.

I was very disappointed and won't be using Angie's List again for choosing companies.

Very thorough and hard working crew. We were especially impressed with the clean-up of the site and property after after the trees came down. Recommended.

The crew arrived on-time and were polite. They did their work without interruption. It took them 2.5 days to remove the trees and clean up.

The fellows were trimming our neighbor's large oak tree. I was impressed with their work and how well they cleaned up the left over debris. I asked if they could take down my smaller tree. We agreed on a price and they returned the next day. The tree came down quickly, the trunk was level with the ground and the area raked clear of small and tiny twigs.

They did a good job with the trees. They did me a big favor and took another tree down on but because it was so late they didn't have a chance to clean it up as much as they would have if it was earlier.

Waited 3 times before getting someone to look at the work to be completed. Then had to keep calling as my date kept getting pushed farther and farther out. The work they did was great but it took a lot to get them there.

They got started and kept working until completed. They arrived with well running and needed equipment to do the work. Most important they were very carful and cleaned up all debris when finished.

It went well. There were three workers. It took them about 3 hours total to do the work. The workers were nice individuals and got the job done. They got to work. They could have done a little bit better job cleaning up after themselves, but I am not going to beat them up over that. It was a decent job.
