I would recommend that no one use this company. We paid him after he did the estimate and after six months of excuses as to why he could not complete the job we advised him we wanted our money back. At the 8 month mark he paid us 3,000 dollars of our money back, but still has not paid us in full. We are amazed that someone could operate their business this way and would hate to see anyone else give him money and not have the job done. I just feel as if this is wrong for a provider to do and wanted to let others know how his business is operated.
Description of Work: He was to replace all the metal on the side of our home as the building is 33 yrs old and looked bad so we wanted all metal and bad boards replaced. He was also to redo two other buildings as well.

Response from Rick Leever
This customer knew that I was working on a roof job when we contracted their job, and that I had a polebarn garage to build before their job. Due to winter weather conditions and a knee injury, surgery and recovery – I was unable to cancel the work in early April. I repaid them $2000 on April 15 and $1000 on April 26. (not at the 8 month mark). I am working very hard to repay the $1800 balance as soon as possible. I am truly sorry there was such a delay in starting their job. I had gotten back to work after my surgery and was about a week from starting their project when they cancelled. I am also very sorry that I have been currently unable to repay all of their down payment money. I sent them a letter in early June promising to do so. I was certainly planning to do their project up until the moment they cancelled. It is a misrepresentation to state or imply that I never intended to do the work – or that do not intend to repay their money. I will repay them. I have repaid much of the money. Rick Leeyer
