The Fence Guy

First off I was concerned that this contractor was not licensed in our town. He stated to us to inform the town building department that we(the home owner) would be installing the fence ourselves to acquire our permit. After we had made the agreement with the Fence Guy to install our fencing we had our installation dates changed twice. The day Louie showed up he performed the first stage of the installation. He did the measurements, dug the holes and set the terminal and line posts. Louie told me that he would return the next day to finish the job. He never showed up. He arrived the following day and finished the job,he stretched the fencing material and installed two gates. I was not home at the time he installed the gates, Louie had told my wife that one of the two gates will only open fully in one direction. I have determined that when the holes were dug and the posts were set, the measurement for the correct distance between the gate posts was incorrect. Now the hinges are installed in a manner that only allows the gate to open a few feet in one direction. I have called The Fence Guy every day for two weeks to get this resolved and have not to this day received a returned phone call from Louie. Also this company did not properly clean up my property after themselves. I had scrap pieces of chain link fencing all over my back yard.
