They came to install the new roof on the house and detached garage.  They removed the old layers and installed the new roof. They backed up their large truck directly into a tree, breaking 5 or 6 good branches, when they could have moved over 2 feet without breaking anything.  I was not home at that time or I would have stopped them.  They added extra boards and charged me over and above the original proposal.  This should have been brought to my attention at that time so I would have understood why there so much added cost.  They removed a metal awning, damaging some siding, which they did not repair.  They added gutters and downspouts (6 inch) when 4 inch should have been used, and broke the tiles that were already present in the ground in order to make their large downspouts fit.  They left some of the raw wood at the roof edge uncovered and I held payment until they covered it.  I showed the owner all the damage they had done and he did send someone to complete some of it.  I still am concerned that the roof will not hold up for the allotted 25 years.
