Outstanding and one of the best contractors that I have worked with in 30 years of owning a home. Lorne and his brother communicated what they would do and how long it would take, very little disruption and they stayed on the job until complete, they don't use subs. I would recommend them for about anything. We used them again for a minor flood in the basement, very prompt and resonable on the price.

Someone mentioned his name and I found out we go to the same church. I used him and he does a great job. As long as he is not booked, he is the one I will use.

They did a great job for a good price.

He is very personable. I can trust him in my home. He doesn’t answer his phone calls too well. His follow up is not very good. I had a leak in the shower door that I called him about. He came back to repair it and it still leaked. I called him about it and I haven’t heard anything so far. I had to actually call another company to repair the door. I like him. He has done other work for us that was fine but I just wasn’t happy about the shower door. The tile and the vanity that he did was great.

I can trust him so much, that I can leave him at home and go.  I share a good rapport with him and can call him anytime.  He comes and takes care of the problem, well.  I have been using him for quite some time and will continue to do so.

He arrived on time, was curteous and replaced the valve quickly. The next morning I noticed water on the floor and discovered the valve was leaking again. I put a pan under the leak and called Picken's to come back out. I called 3-4 times and always got his voicemail. I left a message about the problem with every call amd never got a return call. I finally gave up and called a plumber to replace the valve ($135.00). The plumber said the new valve had been tightened too tight and cracked it. I will not call Pickens again.

Couldn't be happier. All jobs were completed quickly and at a reasonable cost. Lorne was very professional and also helpful with any questions we had. He also went above and beyond the initial job by consulting a bad toilet & repairing a shoddy front-door install for free! Would definitely recommend Pickens Handyman Service Inc. to anyone.

We moved into an older home and it needed some attention. Lorn had done work for us in the past and he was the only one we wanted to do the work on our new home. He did a great job and he is currently back doing more work on the outside of our house.

He is very friendly and personable. He is very attentive to detail which was great for me. He did very good work for me. I will certainly call him back out in the future.

Job 1: Everything he does is done well and he takes the time to explain what needs to be done. The best thing about him as I said before is his honesty, integrity and quality of work. That is becoming harder and harder to find. Depending on his availability, I'd use him every single time. This is the best contractor I've used so far. Job 2: Mr. Pickens arrived on time and started the job right away. By the time I got back the spickets were replaced and everything works great. He is very courteous, works hard, and communicates well on what needs to be done. Job well done. I would definitely use his excellent services again.
