It went well. The gentleman who came out to do the estimate did a thorough job. In fact the final bill was exactly the same as the quote. The gentlemen who came out to actually do the drywall came and went at odd times but the job was done in the timeframe that we were told it would be done. Only thing I would have changed, was to mandate the work hours. We have children that we have to run to and from school. Occasionally, the workers would show up at noon and then we would have to ask them to leave at 2:00 when we left to pick up our kids. Other days, they would show up at 9:00 and get a few hours of work in before leaving for lunch, but then not return until 2:00. At which time, we would have to say come back tomorrow or later because we are heading out to get our kids.
Nonetheless, the job as done on time, and on budget. The work was excellent and we love the finished basement!
