The furnace in our rental property wasn't working well. We called Rose and he wasn't available immediately to do the repair - one-man company. So we called another company who charged about $343 to show up on a Friday night, dig around and reconnect a wire that came loose from the blower, supposedly. The problem was intermittent, but they thought it was resolved. It wasn't. This other company came back the next day at no extra charge, did some testing and said the heat exchanger was leaking causing the furnace to be unsafe, and the blower needed to be replaced - just replace the whole furnace.

I decided to get a second opinion from Rose. He came out Tuesday - it was worth the wait. The heat exchanger was indeed cracked, but it was still under warranty. The blower needed to be replaced, too. He checked the controller board and capacitor and concluded - apparently correctly - that all that was needed was a new heat exchanger and blower motor. Total cost was $406 or so, due to warranty. The other company didn't think to check or mention that the heat exchanger was covered. They just seemed to punt on the furnace and perhaps saw a chance to make a sale.

The water heater needed to be replaced, too, so we had Rose do it for $875 installed.

This is the third time Rose has saved us a lot of money than other companies were proposing. He replaced an A/C unit for around $1800. He also said that repairs other companies said were needed weren't needed. He does only what is necessary. I trust him implicitly.

No complaints, Fast. One other company had come to my home and a rental property and both furnaces, in their opinion, needed $1000's in repairs or replacement. Rose came, performed just what was needed on one. The other was fine. Glad I got a second opinion. He does just what's needed. He also replaced our A/C for a very reasonable price, less than 1/2 that of other companies.

I feel that they are extremely reasonably priced, and for me doing rentals, that is very important. They are very kind. I have used Rose Heating and Cooling four or five times total, they are the people I always go to.
