On 9/26/17, I had my system serviced due to a water leak from the inside unit. The technician discovered that the condensation drainpipe was not installed correctly to allow for proper drainage and this resulted in an eventual clog. The technician also discovered that only the 2nd stage was working, so after reviewing the system manuals, he quickly identified the problem; not wired correctly. After correcting the wiring errors, the system began to respond as it should with both an operational stage 1 and stage 2. Last night the system worked better than ever and the noise level was greatly reduced. The outside unit also seemed to run better. The errors in installation by Nail Home Service are not something that I could have seen or known about, but I do have to wonder how much extra money I have paid in electricity since this system was installed and only running in stage 2 ever since installation in July 2014. This is three full years? Also, I suspect the system has been aged prematurely due to running in 2nd stage all this time; it didn’t know it could run at any slower speed due to the wiring error.
