Kitchen turned out beautiful ! Had a few things that needed fixing after the final walk through. These things were fixed right away!

He used the three installment payments to buy the materials.  He refused to give me any receipts.  He consistently was late or rescheduled.  The work took months because he had other priorities.  At first he was fine, then brought his teenage son in to do some of the work.  The work was horrible.  They installed drywall and painted.  The painting was sloppy, the trim was a mess.  His son cut out the outlets from the drywall and the majority of them were completely off center and crooked.  They had about 8 hours of work left to do - fix the outlets, rehang the doors and railings, and they left it all unfinished and never came back.  It's a shame when you trust in a contractor and they leave you with a mess.

I would never hire him again.  I treated him well and he left us with a mess that I will now have to pay someone else to fix.

It went well.  The paint job was wonderful.  They were busy the whole time and very professional.  The shelves were hung like I asked.  It turned out great.

Cliff Gilb was very proffessional with his quotes and explained everything to my satisfaction before doing extra work. The crew showed up at 7:30 every day they worked and worked every minute they were there. No 2 hour lunch breaks. Very happy with the work and will call him again if the need araises.

He was very thorough, professional, and prompt. When he said he was going to be here, they were here. When they were running late, he called to let me know. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very courteous.

Mr. Gilb was called in by the house painter to replace some rotted wood. He was able to quote me a price in the morning and do the work that afternoon. He did a great job. The replacement was seamless. Cannot tell where replacement occurred on porch. The workers very friendly and cleaned up well after work was completed.

In anticipation of a family visit scheduled for the weekend of September 20th,2013,  we began remodelling our  family room. Replacing the ceiling tiles was more time consuming than expected; in addition, there were electrical wiring problems with the lights. With 10 days left to go and feeling desparate, we searched Angie's List, but found most of the contractors in our area to be extremely busy. We were referred to Cliff Gilb, and felt relieved to find him also on Angies List. Cliff was very busy but found time to come in, give us an estimate and a time frame in which he would bring in his team to put in wainscot panelling, trims, baseboards, crown molding, even adding an extra window support.  He gave us a 'shopping list' and the places to go to purchase the items needed. We noted that those facilities were familiar with him and spoke well of him, which gave us confidence in his work and ability.  Cliff and his team were very prompt, personable, and professional and the project was completed in time. We are very pleased with the results of his work but especially appreciated his heart for the business and  genuine concern for his customers.  We would definately use his services again and refer him to others.

The job was extremely high on our house and in a location which was difficult to place a ladder securely. 3 contractors walked away without giving a bid, but Terry gave us a fair bid, did an excellent job and was very professional.
