Property Appraisal
THE APPRAISAL HAD A NUMBER OF MISTAKES, NOT THE LEAST OF WHICH WAS A SIGNIFICANT UNDER-ESTIMATION OF SQUARE FOOTAGE. IT TOOK TWO EMAILS AND FOUR PHONE CALLS (BOTH BY ME AND BY MY MORTGAGE BROKER), OVER A SIX WEEK TIME FRAME, TO GET THEM TO CORRECT THE MISTAKES. WHEN I DID GET THEM ON THE PHONE, THE REP SOUNDED ANNOYED AT BEING BOTHERED WITH MY REQUESTS TO FIX THE MISTAKES, AND FAILED TO CALL ME BACK AS PROMISED. TRUE, THEY GOT THE INITIAL APPRAISAL DONE IN TIME FOR THE CLOSING OF THE MORTGAGE. THEY ALSO GOT THE MISTAKES FIXED (FINALLY EIGHT WEEKS AFTER CLOSING), BUT VERY SLOPPY WORK AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I GAVE THEM A ''C'' ON ''PRICE'' BECAUSE I BELIEVE THEIR PRICE IS ABOUT AVERAGE FOR THE SERVICE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE. I GAVE THEM A ''D'' ON 'PUNCTUALITY'' BECAUSE AT LEAST THE INITIAL APPRAISAL WAS PROVIDED IN TIME FOR CLOSING. OTHER THAN THAT, I WILL NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN.
