My yard slopes downhill; I told him I wanted something that would last, and not slide down my hill.   I had no idea the scope of what had to be done ; if I had, I would have realized that $4,800.00 was too cheap to do the job correctly,  I have been trying to get someone out to do the job for 2 years, but local companies either did not return my phone call or if they did, never showed up for the appointment.  When this company was recommended to me, and actually showed up; I was elated that I was finally going to get this done.  The work was about 99% complete, when a piece of their equipment broke.  I was told they would return after the equipment was repaired.  It should have been around July 18th or 19th, 2012.  I did talk to the owner around that time, and was told that they would come soon.  I mentioned that I notice that one section sloped toward my house and not toward the yard and that I was concern that rain draining toward the house could damaged my foundation.  He said he would check it when he came to finish the job.  Since then we have had several bad rain storms and I noticed that my new flat patio was now uneven, and that it looked like the patio was shifting and coming apart.  I called the owner of the company, he said he would come out to check it the weekend of August 5th or 6th.  I stayed home that weekend; he  did not show up.  I've tried to call him, but all I get is that his voicemail is full.  Initially, the patio looked very nice, and just needed the ramp down to the yard completed.   but it still isn't completed  and it is already shifting.  Today is August 13th, and my patio is uneven with some of the stones are tilted up, and  some of the retaining wall stones come off.  When you walk across it, you have to  be careful not to trip.

Everything went really well. They did an excellent job in a timely manner. Some other companies that I called wanted much more money than this company estimated. I have recommended him to my sister for mold removal too. He remodeled my bathroom about 2 years ago including tile work, drywall, fixed the door, etc. I told him that in about a month, I will need him to remodel my other 2 bathrooms.

UPDATE: I wasn't pleased with the professionalism after he completed the work. The window in the family room is now seperating from the seal. He needed to fine tune some areas and he has yet to do that.
