"I was honestly surprised to see a response after almost a year and a half has transpired since we cleaned for this client. We served them for almost 2 years from 2012 thru August 2014 so to receive an F rating was very hard to believe. Why would anyone pay close to 100 times for such bad service? My Christian faith is at the heart of everything I do and I will say that we tried very hard to satisfy this client by trying to put our best and most responsible cleaners on the job. We are not perfect by any means; however, we take seriously any and all feedback from our clients. Our company has continued to grow over the past 5 years and we currently average close to 100 jobs per week. Of all the clients we have served, I personally, as the owner, spent as much or more effort trying to satisfy this client as almost any other. The value for the company continued to diminish as the family started to grow and more time was being spent on trying to satisfy the client. We eventually decided that a price increase was warranted and agreed to keep it less than a 10% increase. Services were cancelled shortly after the price increase. I take much pride in customer satisfaction which is why we stand behind our work and why it hurts when any of our clients are not satisfied with our service."
Two employees arrived on time and were let into the house to clean. The cleaning was not supervised. Returned to the property later that evening to find a note that they did not clean any of the floors (including rooms they stated were "done"), windows or light fixtures. I was never contacted and asked if I wanted them to stay longer and finish the cleaning or given an estimate of how much more time it would have taken them to complete their tasks. Not a single room in the house is ready for a new resident. No explanation as to why it took them 4 hours to clean two toilets that were already clean, shower (new), bathtub with all new fixtures, 3 sinks, 1 refrigerator and 1 stove.
This business will not come out and assess the job before they send their cleaners and they do not give estimates. They do not stand behind their agreements to complete a job as requested. I have hired professional cleaners previously. The work completed by this business was substandard and very disappointing.
1. John ( the owner) came to give me the quote January 9,2012. He and an assistant walked through the home with me and asked questions as to what I was looking for in a cleaning service. They were very polite and seemed nice to do business with. We have 2 dogs and they were there ( on leashes) and we talked at length about dog hair on the floor. Our Sheltie was shedding a lot at that time, so they were very aware of the dogs.
2.Their first cleaning was Jan.27,2012 and there was 2 girls that came. This was and extra $25 because it was a "deep" cleaning their first visit. It took them about 3 hours. We had the dogs on their leashes and my husband and I staying in the office while they were cleaning. They would service our house every other week.
3. The next visit, one of the girls that came the first time came again and brought another person that I was told would be the one cleaning my house from that point on. I was told she had only been with the company a few days but was a friend of the other girl. Again, my husband and i stayed in the office while they cleaned.
4.The next visit the new girl was by herself and it took her 4 hours to clean the house. I did notice that she was on her phone alot. She was very talkative to us and would just stop what she was doing and carry on a conversation off and on the entire time she was here.This became the norm from that time on. The one thing that did change was that I would sit in the living room to observe her working and boy was I surprised!!! When dusting 2 long tables I have that display items of mine, not one item was picked up while dusting. While mopping my hallway, the runner or rug in front of the door was not picked up. Just like most all the other times I noticed she would be on her phone a lot.I also noticed that she was not taking out the trash at the end of cleaning. She was to dust my blinds one visit and the next visit dust my baseboards( this was never done) only the blinds got dusted every visit.5. In May, the company was sending 2 girls to clean the house because it was taking so long for this girl to finish. It cut the visit time in half.The only bad thing with this was, the original girl would stop what she was doing to talk the the person that came to help. That person kept on working while talking.Also, the original girl, would re-clean what the other girl had just cleaned( not paying attention to what was going on )6. In early June I needed to cancel a cleaning, when I called John answered the phone. He said he was glad I called, because he was going to call me. He stated that he needed to up the rate for our cleaning, because it was taking so long per visit. He also stated that they were having to take a lot of time to clean my floors. At this point I told him I was not to happy with this conversation because he was the one that gave me the quote and we had a conversation about the dogs at that time, and to give me a couple of days to think about it.7. John called back with in the hour to talk some more about the issue. At this point ( without coming out and saying it) he hinted that I didn't clean in between visits ( cleaning the floors). I told him I didn't pay $500 for a vacuum cleaner not to use it and yes we vacuumed in between cleaning. This really got me mad. At this point I told John about what I observed from his cleaning crew. I told him that if our girl wouldn't spend so much time talking on her phone, to us, and to everyperson that came with her, she might be able to get the job done faster. I also pointed out all the other issues listed above.8. I informed John that I would not be using his service any longer.
