My whole problem with Trustworthy was not the repair technician. He was very nice and seemed sympathetic to the fact that our dishwasher was a lemon. However, the whole issue is the warranty repair clerk, Robin. She is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The second time I called for service, she answered the phone with "What's the problem now?" What a great way to greet a client! I was treated as a total inconvenience by Robin. After waiting 4 days to call Frigidaire for additional assistance to get our lemon dishwasher replaced, they advised Trustworthy still hadn't submitted their paperwork with the repair resolution. I'm not sure who's responsibility it is to submit the paperwork, but since Robin is the warrant repair clerk, I can only guess it's hers.
This is not the first time we have used Trustworthy for service. We used them at our previous residence too. We just haven't used them for any type of warranty repair. Unfortunately, due to the rude manner in which I was treated, I will not be using them for service again in the future.

"[removed member name], I am Very sorry that you had problems with the washer you purchased from us on June 29th, 2015. It worked fine for us in the shop before we sold it to you and it worked fine every time our service tech came out to your home (July 13th, 2015, July 22nd, 2015, and July 30th, 2015). The tech even put an expensive control on the machine for good measure, just in case it was an intermittent problem. When you asked for a refund Friday, July 31st, 2015 you were told someone could pick up the machine on Monday and that I would call you beforehand on Monday morning to discuss the refund. When I called you that Monday morning, I was under the impression that the machine worked but you just didn’t want it anymore. That is why I stated there would be a restocking fee. When I understood that you were still having a problem with the machine, I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a full refund, even the delivery fee. I thought that was more than fair and that seemed to be satisfactory to you at the time. I am very sorry that our return process was not as smooth as you wanted, but we did give you a full refund and picked up the washer by the next business day at our own expense. "Mr. {member name removed}, Our service tech went to your home as scheduled on 07/07/2015 to work on your whirlpool side by side refrigerator. He found the evaporator drain plugged causing it to leak water on the floor. He gave an estimate of $149.50 to repair the problem. He was there 1 hour and 20 minutes removing the ice and flushing out the drain. This job is more technical then it appears and requires knowledge and skill to properly flush out drain. I feel that the charge was fair based on the time and effort that was made. However I would be willing to give you a $20.00 off the next service call charge in the future. I will send you a coupon documenting this offer. We appreciate your business and hope to be able to serve you in the future."

Just a thought for next time: you can let the dispatcher know that you'd like for the technician to call to meet you there. We can give a time slot still, but he could call when he's on his way. "Hi Mr. [Member name removed], I'm sorry for the problems that occurred with your recent repair. Our procedure is to call our customers as soon as their ordered part is delivered to our office. The day you checked on your part, we showed that it had not arrived yet. Then, when it was located/delivered, the follow-up call was promptly scheduled. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication about the scheduled day and time. Your understanding of the day and ours were different. It was understood by you to be the first day you waited, and our schedule showed it was actually the 2nd day out. Normally, we schedule morning calls for 8-12 and afternoon calls 1-5, so we have time allowed for calls that have more difficult problems and might take longer also. We like to have happy customers and try very hard for that to happen, but sometimes mistakes happen, and we hope you will forgive us our errors. Hopefully, if you need service again, things will work more efficiently and with clear communication. Please tell the office to apply a discount (as per Anita) the next time.
