Our furnace stopped working so I called the insurance company to create a service request. They assigned Tommy D's to do the work. A few hours later I got a call from Tommy D's saying they could get to it the next day between 1-3PM and would call before they came. At 1PM they called, asked if I was around, I said yes, and he showed up minutes later in a good-looking and well-organized work van and got right to work. I've done many repairs myself so I was aware of what needed to happen. He quickly figured out what was needed and replaced the faulty computer board. However, it was quite a bit of work to replace the old board with a new generic one that company makes now that fits multiple models. So he had to match like functions from the old to the new which was no easy task. Regardless, the furnace was fixed and he was on his way in about two hours. Tommy was very personable, and seemed to enjoy my watching him work and he answered the occasional question though I tried not bother him when he was reading the print, manual or figuring out something. As far as the cost of all this, the insurance call cost me $125 for the deductible and that was it. I signed the work receipt indicating that he did the work and what it was and he was on his way. This was as painless as it gets. He was prompt, polite, competent, did what he said he'd do, amazingly had the replacement computer for our old furnace in his truck, went right to work and it worked better than it did originally when he was finished. He explained that the new board had a feature that could be set to utilize our two-stage furnace in a more efficient way than the old board could so he enabled that setting. I noticed a difference in a quieter sound right away. I'm very happy with the whole process as from the time I made the call to when the furnace was fixed was less than 24 hours. I would recommend Tommy D's to anyone with furnace issues. He's been in the business many years and worked with several large HVAC companies before starting his own. Five Stars!

How'd it go? Horribly. 
Our home is "new to me" and we experienced A/C problems when first using it in June, 2015. We had purchased a home warranty, so contacted them about the problem. They assigned Tommy D's to us. 
The initial contact to schedule an appointment with Tommy D's went ok(although it was delayed by the home warranty company).
The appointment with Tommy was decent, but not great. In short, he
- Determined we were low on refrigerant.
- Performed a leak test, and found the problem.
- Added refrigerant, to help keep it cooler until the problem could get fixed.
- Explained that he would follow-up with the Home Warranty company by July 13th, which was 5 days (3 business days). He said he was too busy to do it any quicker.
Well, we waited...and waited...and waited...I tried following-up with Tommy D, but never got an answer. I called the Home Warranty company to see if they were the hold up, and they had no record of Tommy D ever contacting them. They tried contacting him, and got not reply. Since they had no record from Tommy D of the problem, we had to be reassigned to another service provider. 
I had to pay for the service call with Tommy D and some cost of the refrigerant,  I had to pay again for the second vendor. and we continued to "pay" because we went through hot days without A/C that would drop the air temperature. (Adding the refrigerant did not work as Tommy suggested...wasted money.) Had Tommy followed-through, this issue would have been competed quickly.

We'll keep using them since he has a competitive price. He is very prompt; he comes when he said he's going to come. I never had an issue with everything he fixed. He fixed it correctly. He came back to as soon as we call.

He was actually earlier than he said he would be. He fixed the problem and actually went the extra mile to fix another problem he found at no additional charge. Very honest and truly cares about peoples safety. Great experience!!

Tommy has done work for me before. Always quick to respond and came same day during the summer heat wave. He could have sold me a new unit as hot as it was, but explained the problem and had the solution. I ended up also having him install a better thermostat since I was unhappy with my old one. He can be trusted.
