Please see my comments above. We have used the dog house so many times. Their staff truly loves animals and they charge a fair price. We are always comfortable leaving our fur babies at the dog house because we know they will be taken care of!

I have used The Dog House many times for day care for my baby boy, he loves going there so much and playing with the other dogs. He recognizes the place when we get close and gets all excited in the car. They have a very large inside community play room for day care and an outside area that I have not ever seen. They are very carefue to make sure your dog is sociable with other dogs the first time you bring them, so you can be sure that when your dog joins the pack in the play room that they will be safe. There is always an employee in the play room with the dogs at all times making sure the rough housing doesn't get out of hand. I've dropped in sometimes just to watch all the dogs play even when my boy wasn't there. The employees are great and truly love dogs, some even bring their dogs in to play while they work. I have also used thier overnight boarding and the kennels are nice and large and there are two sizes. You can keep your dogs in the same one if you have more than one dog, and you can use your own food, bedding and toys if you want too. You can package your overnight boarding with full or half days in the day care so you dog doesn't spend the whole time in the kennels. They are also careful to make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations.

The groomer that used to work at another dog grooming center moved to The Dog House of Lafayette, so I moved my dog there because I liked that groomer. It was great. The staff there is always friendly. They always greet me. They know who my dog is. The groomer who does her is really, really great. She does a really good job. They always have specials like the pets can have the facials done or the nails painted if you asked them. I just really like them. I can also give my dog a bath myself if I want to. I love the groomer that they have there. I like that my dog felt comfortable with her. She always does a good job. She always does what I ask her to do. She is really good to my dog. I really like her personality. She always remembers about the haircut that I like for my dog.
