You should NOT hire this guy for two reasons. First off, he asked us where we got his info because he said he was actually looking to get out of the tree business to focus on other things (I don't know what). Secondly, he did a terrible job and misrepresented what he was going to do. We had a dead tree branch fall on our garage and damage it. After closer inspection we realized our tree had two other large, dead branches. We called Steve and he said he'd come out the next day to take a look and give us an estimate; he never showed. I called him the next day and he apologized and said he'd be out that day. He came out and quoted us a price of $175. He said he'd remove the dead branches and a little bit of the new growth that was growing where it wasn't supposed to. We scheduled a day for him to come out but he didn't make it that day and rescheduled for the next day. He went to work on our tree while we were out running errands and when we came back our ENTIRE backyard was absolutely covered in branches and our 100-year-old tree was almost completely bare. He then had the audacity to charge us $50 to haul our branches ten feet to the curb. Our tree looks absolutely awful and completely sad.

It went very well. Steve and his crew showed up on time and did the job in approximately 3 hours. During the bidding process, I had specified to Steve the details of where and why I wanted the trees trimmed (to prevent roof and patio damage and to provide more yard sunlight). He listened well and proceeded to trim exactly what needed to be done. During the cleanup process, Steve took the time to blow the leaves and twigs off my roof caused by the trimming, then went the extra mile and also blew debris out of my gutters. A nice surprise.
I was very pleased with the job and plan to use his services again in the future.

Steve and his crew were very prompt and did an excellent job of clearing the trees and all of the debris. Ground the stumps and cleared all of the chips and pine needles. Spread new soil so that the lawn is now ready for seeding. Would highly recommend!

Service was excellent. We called on a Monday afternoon, made an appointment for an assessment/estimate at 8am Tuesday. Steve was right on time, had a great estimate for all the work in about 10 minutes. We left for work, and on returning home found everything spic and span. The redbud (which was in such bad shape we thought it was sick) looks great, and our yard has never been so clean.
