Korschots Heating and Air

We had never used Korschots in the past so we weren't sure about repair times or costs. We received a call from Korschots after the technician came out and were pleased to find out a simple repair could get us through another year or two. The part had to be ordered but we were extremely pleased the part was in quickly, the repair was done within two days of callling Korschots and the cost was extremely reasonable. We will now use Korschots for every heating a cooling issue we encounter.

They've been here in town for years - as long as I can remember. Since I don't let anyone else do it it's hard to know a comparison on price.

Dave arrive on time to give me a quote and
was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of options and was not
pushy. He listened to my concerns and to the way I wanted things. I decided on
the Lennox SLP98V furnace with the Healthy Climate Carbon Clean 16 Media
Air Cleaner and the iComfort S30 thermostat. Installation went perfect and
the installers took their time to make sure everything was done right. They
plumbed the gas line out to the new meter, new pvc intake and exhaust, new
condensate lines, replaced existing membrane for humidifier, installed furnace
with new air cleaner and new thermostat. Everyone at Korschots went above and
beyond my expectations. Working with them was easy and I could not ask for
anything to be done differently on the installation. We will defiantly be using
Korschots again!

Great experience with Korschots all the way from the estimate process to post installation follow-up.
Estimate involved meeting at the house with a rep from Korschots. Written estimate was received in a timely manner for the exact amount eventually invoiced.
A two person crew came to install the unit. One did the wiring and setup while the other made the transitions from existing duct work to the new unit. Both were very professional and courteous. They left the area around the new unit cleaner than it was when they started! The installers took great care not to damage flooring while moving in/out the units. Total time on site, 2 days.
They use a loop sub-contractor which was also very professional. They completed their work within one day digging, piping and filling about 350 feet of trench.

Scheduled appt. 1 week in advance and had to reschedule due to staff availability. Told worker that exactly where leak was located (leak is where drip pan meets drain line). Worker spent over an hour checking everything out only to determine that leak was located where drip pan met the drain line. Solution required nothing more than applying silicon caulking to repair. Final charge over $175. Cost included a $74 diagnostic fee which we were aware of in advance. Leak appears to have been fixed.

I had just good things to say. They did fine. They were timely. They didn’t cost a lot.

We have had a service contract with them for about 30 years. They do semi-annual check. Once for the furnace and once for the air. It is good to have the contract because if there is a problem they come right away. We pleased having worked with the service manager selectign the right unit. The installers did a great job and kept everything neat.
