Called Wilkinson, bone dry, honest abe, dk, Knox ect... First 3 companies listed met me on site said they would get measurements via satellite. They ghosted us. No bid, wouldn't return calls. Our roof is hard, we get it, but cmon. Knox came out, tried to ghost us when their peeps went on vacay, but returned my follow up calls, came back out, measured, and didn't miss a beat going fwd. They did what they said, paperwork is all professional, they communicated during the entire process, they went out of their way to plz us, everyone involved performed well ...and they did the job in 14hrs!!!! I was told 2-3 days by everyone else. As far as contractors go, Knox was perfect in my experience.

My experience with knox was extremely disappointing!it started out good but they were so unprofessional and dishonest that i regret ever hiring them!its a long story but what it comes down to is that i needed a leaking window repaired and in order to do that the siding had to be replaced as well.somebody came out for an estimate and then i never heard anything after that until I received a bill.instead of scheduling a time and access the window through the house,they came onto my property at one point ,accessed my deck which is is up high so it took some climbing to get up there I guess and fixed the wi dow and siding.So i was unaware of the work being done and the charges were unreasonable.I tried to find out why they did that but thats just how they operate I guess.I payed my bill but I will never hire them again!!! Ps:this was 4 years ago and i just got a text message to leave a review...

I don't live in town (we rent out our house in Lafayette), so I think it was a bit slow in the beginning to get coordinated as to when they were looking at the house and when the job would be done. Other than that, their communication was fabulous. I love that I can call and talk to a person (either Brooke or C'Koh) as opposed to playing endless phone tag (like with other service providers that don't have sufficient office staff - IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE, PEOPLE). They were also great about using email (whoa, it's almost like it's the 21st century or something) to send invoices and keep me updated on the progress. They did a great job, even upgraded the windows without charging me for the difference! In the end, the price was less than they originally estimated. And the roof isn't leaky anymore!! Would DEFINITELY use them again.

They were prompt and very polite. Their service was excellent and they came very quickly. We will use them in the future and recommend their service.

No problems. Mr. Knox came out and talked with us a long time. His large team got the job done fast and cleaned up nicely. He came recommended by a friend we trust and we are thankful for that recommendation.

It went very well. All the workers were pleasant and professional in their interaction with our family members. The work performed was completed in the time frame provided to us, and their clean up was excellent. I was impressed there was no loafing by anyone. I would use this company again and would also recommend them to others.

It was done quickly. The workers were fine. I found a few very small pieces in my flower bed surround, but that can be expected.

Was very pleased with quality of work, materials. Sky light replacement was great. Repaired interior leak damage as well.

Roofing was needed quickly in preparation for winter and it was done quickly. Gutters and siding took some time to get done but since this was not a current residence Knox was able to use this as a filler job between their other jobs. At one point communication was not being returned so I talked to Koh Knox personally and he apologized and asked for a second chance. After that discussion his communication greatly improved to what it should be. There were some siding, insulation and gutter tasks that were done incorrectly but when pointed out to Koh, they were fixed and I was not charged for the fixes. There were a couple of changes along the way and I do not think I was price gouged for the additional cost. I did end up with a very good job and gained a good friendship with Koh Knox along the way.

It's a very good company actually. We're going to hire them in the spring to do the roofing for us.

They are the best in our area as far as I know.

I am totally satisfied with the job that was done by your crew including your carpenter. The crew was great to work with through to whole process. They did everything that you & I had discussed, kept me informed​ on the progress, & answered any questions I had on the job they were doing. They explained to me that none of the shingles that were removed were nailed in the 'nail strips' properly. They were able to basically tear off the roof by hand leaving very few nails to remove from the decking. I watched as they installed the new shingles with 5-6 nails per shingle as is suppose to be done. The roof looks fantastic. The place was cleaned up every evening & was spotless when the job was finished. You will be getting my recommendation to use Knox Services.

We worked with Jon Vogel.  Jon did an outstanding job listening to our needs/requests and clearly detailed all the work to be performed in the quotation and made sure the work was completed to our satisfaction.  Communication skills plus!  Everything was up-front, no surprises.  Once the crew was scheduled, they performed the work very quickly (finished in a few days).  Tony and his crew did a fantastic job and again communication was great.  Each day the crew ensured the job site was cleaned up.  Jon, Tony and the crew exceeded my expectations.
I would strongly suggest you consider Knox Services for your roofing/exterior work.  We are very satisfied and will be a repeat customer.

Originally, the Knox quote was a couple hundred dollars higher than the low bid; however, Koh Knox presented us with a no-nonsense and very professional bid and when asked, he reduced his price to meet the competition. We were exceptionally pleased with Knox as outlined below. 
Knox started around 8:am and finished with the roof job around 7:00 pm. Could tell from the beginning that the roofing group was well led and very professional. Completely tore off 1 - 3 layers of old shingles( some 20 to 30 years old we believe) , replaced with GAF HD Timberline and all necessary under-layments. Knox also  replaced 3 water damaged pieces of roof board, cleaned up every bit of scrap and every member of the 5 person crew was kept very busy the entire day by an excellent  group leader. We were very pleased with the overall roofing job and have already recommended Knox to one party and will readily do so to others. Knox had their sub, Guys and Gutters, come a couple of days later which gave us time to clean and paint fascia and other gutter trim boards that hadn't been done in years. Gutter Guys installed gutters and downspouts in about 1- 2 hours and we were every bit as professional as the Knox roofers. Another great job !!!!!

Not only did he fix the leak area but checked everything else out on the roof and found two other things that could have become potential leaks.  He was polite, quick efficient and very nice to work with.  I would certainly hire him again if needed, I was very impressed by his service and his reasonable price.  And he had to travel quite a ways to get to my house too.
