Ike's Sewer Services ‎

Do. NOT. RECOMMEND. We heard glowing reviews, but that must have been from over a decade ago because how IKES is treating customers and their tasks is abysmal. 1st job) done with 3 guys, we requested a camera. Camera Never happened. They "cleared" drain. We paid $380. We hired them 1-2 weeks later to hydrojet our French drain. After 1 attempt they said they couldn't accommodate the roots, charged us , and we paid $450 dollars for the second job. 1 week later (or 3 weeks since original clog) original clog clogs again. I call, say "yall were here 3 weeks ago, can you come fix this again? Can we use a camera!?" Yes they'll come back out "for $185" to finish what they didn't finish initially. 1 guy comes very late, think 3 hours after ETA at about 6:30 pm (because when he arrived at 5:30, he didn't have the draining equipment, or the camera, and when he returned at 6:30 pm he had still forgotten the camera) He couldn't release the clog. He was new and didn't have plumbing experience. He said he had been a plumber and with Ikes for 3 months. He got the machine stuck. At 7:30 pm he left saying " we'll be back in the morning to finish clearing" Never came back, never called. We called another plumber. He arrived within hours. He snaked the drain. He used his camera pre snake and post snake. He showed us the blockage. He was finished in under an hour. He charged $200 and I paid and tipped him on the spot. 2 months later I get my FIRST invoice from IKES for the 3rd job left undone. I CALLED ikes the following day, they said they would have the office manager call me back. NO BODY EVER CALLED ME BACK. But, I DID get word from IKES through a second party! They had sent my bill to COLLECTIONS. 5 days after I received my first invoice from IKES for their incomplete 3rd job (2 months after the initial 3rd call to IKES), I got a notice from Capital Accounts collections agency. At least The collections agency gave me 30 days to work with the issue! Way more time than IKES gives their clients to PAY for their shifty and incomplete jobs! IKES has a Sneaky and irresponsible way to collect money from their clients, for jobs they don't have the skills to accommodate. There are so many sewer services, if you save heartache, time , energy and money reading this note, then that's all I'm hoping for. Best wishes!

HORRABLE. they sent two kids out and pumped an empty septic tank .pipe was clogged leading to tank after me and father inspected it after it backed up shortly after they got done.He said(bill the owner) we paid for a septic pumping didnt matter what the problem was thats what they where there for if it was the problem or not.i brought up a hypothetical quetion for him if you take youre car to get work done that didnt need to be done unknown to you and they did it any way and charged you he stopped me right there and said"wouldnt happen i work on my own car" and huge up a few seconds later. later after much debate he sent a person out tuesday mornig to fix the problem.after lookin at the hole in the yard then he said he needed help said he would be right back and never returned.i called repeated times he said if his tecs couldnt make it back he would come out himself.i called at 5 and 6 p.m then they said first thing wen morning they would be back to fix it (keep in mind this started friday morning) and another 150 doller charge.SCAM ARTIST.way to go bill for leaving a pregnet woman and her 1 1/2 old child with out toilets and sewers all togther after taking all thier money. oh ya and the first qote was for 400-425. money wasnt the deal it was being taking advantge of!

Ike's personnel came out used a camera to find the blockage in a sewer line then cleaned it out.  Work was done quickly and professionally.  

Tech determined if clog was from house or or further down the sewer line. Once he saw it was from the house he ran the auger in that direction. After about 15 minutes he showed me that tree roots were the the problem. Once line was clear  we ran water for several minutes to be sure drain would flow properly.

They were prompt and punctual. However, a young guy came to do the work and I didn't think he was really knowledgeable.

Overall, I would give Ike's a C rating. They got the job done, but I wish they would have communicated better with me and taken greater care not to damage our property.

My husband decided to repair a leak under the kitchen sink (connected to the dishwasher).  This was on a Saturday.  Many trips to the hardware store and the day turning to evening, we needed to get the water turned on again, but the leak was not fixed.  So, we called Ike's who, considering it was a Saturday night, came in excellent time and had the repair made in no time at all.  Very pleased and relieved!

The service men cam the same day I called, within 2 hours.  Work was professional and the service men were polite and attentive. 

We called on Tues afternoon, and someone was here on Wed afternoon.  This is AMAZING considering we live in Fowler, and, usually, getting someone to come this far -- well, it just doesn't happen like that.  They diagnosed our problem -- a broken sewer pipe in the basement -- and collected a deposit, promising to have it fixed by Fri.  At 11:30 on Fri, a different set of workers returned and worked for an hour and a half.  When done, we had a completely replaced sewer pipe from top to bottom -- even going down under/through our foundation and for several feet into the pipe that runs to the city sewer.  Before leaving, they promised to send back the original crew from Wed to be sure we didn't also have a clog.  We did.  A little before 4:00 (on a Fri afternoon!), the guys came and cleared the clog, making sure everything was draining properly before they left.  We are so happy to have the problems fixed, and we can not say enough good stuff about Ike's!

Began the day by calling a different service who strung me along for about 3 hours (separate review left for that company, not quite as positive as this one).  Called Ike's at 11:00AM on July 4th.  Within an hour had Keith at my house and my line was cleared.  Keith was very polite and professional and did a fine job and the price charged was very fair, especially since it was a national holiday.  Will definitely call Ike's again if I ever need to have a line cleared.  I hightly recommend them.

I called Ike's on Easter Sunday. My toilets wouldn't flush nor would water go down my sinks. They were at my house in 30 minutes ( I live 30 min away from them). Very fast service. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He ran a rooter through my outside cleanout. He flushed my toilet several times. Everything was draining fine. He wrote up my bill for $160.00. I asked him how much was weekend and holiday charge. He explained they did not charge extra for weekends or holidays. That is the same price everyone gets any time of the day irreguardless of a holiday. I was very impressed. I will use their services from now on.

After trying to clean it out myself over the weekend on Sunday I gave up the ghost and called Ike's. They were there within about an hour and they did not charge an extra fee for weekend service which I thought was very nice. I thought they were professional and brought big equipment. They used a water jet to clear out the line and were successful in resolving the problem. I thought that the price was pretty high for the 40 minutes of work that they had to perform though they did have a pretty big piece of equipment to do the water jetting. Overall it was a good experience other than the high price so if I have an urgent situation again in the future I will use them.
