Consolidated Property Management was contacted to remove water from basement carpet on a yet occupied home. Statement arrived with an amount due of $15, including a note that an extractor was needed. Shortly thereafter an additional statement arrived with amount due of $78, work performed by Diamond Bright Cleaning Service 3200 Morallion Court, West Lafayette, IN 47906. However upon final inspection the carpet and pad were still wet, saturated in fact, causing mold to grow. The odor was not pleasant. We were forced to remove the carpet and pad and have it replaced at significant expense.
The situation was explained to Ron Clark of Consolidated Property Management. He apologized and said he would look into it. On a return call he stated that he spoke to the cleaning people and wanted to promote good will between CPM and Diamond Bright and also indicated that Amy at Diamond Bright said to forget the bill. Unfortunately for us, we had already paid Consolidated Property Management. Ron confirmed our check was cashed and he was going to look into it further.
Three and 1/2 months later I heard nothing, no check and no resolution.
Called Ron today (11/1/11) and he apologized, and thanked me for calling and my patience. He promised the check would be in the mail. We will see. Overall experience ratings may be updated if the check arrives.
"The refund of this money was mailed out 11/1/2011. We apologize for any inconvenience."
