I have used Computers Made Easy for many years and have always been fully satisfied with their service, timeliness and curtesy. Today I was expecting to drop off the computer and get it back in a few days. Instead, the service technician opened up the computer on the counter, not at his work bench. We listened to the beeps and he found the code problem the beeps indicated. It seems it was a memory chip issue. He took out the two chips, ran the system and by putting one in at a time and it worked, he loaded both back in and it started beeping again. He then loaded the chip from the center slot unto the outside slot. It worked, the slot for the chip was the problem. He then told me how to upgrade my Microsoft XP operating system to Microsoft 7 and also how to load my new WiFi. Once the WiFi was set, he told me to download all the drivers by using the Dell website using the computers Service Tag. I asked what I owed, and he told me he wasn't going to charge me. I don't know if it was because I was wearing my Army retired hat or he just felt he didn't do enough to justify charging me the hourly rate. Either way, I was very appreciative of his help. I followed his advice and the computer is now fully upgraded, connected to my home WiFi network and working perfectly.
