If you are thinking of hiring this guy save your self the headache, mess, frustration because you will get all these things if you hire him. Hired him over 6 weeks ago for a concrete job that has yet to be completed. He required 1/3 down, 1/3 half completion and 1/3 at finish. We have him 1/3 down but then he asks more to pay his "guys" and the concrete driver because he is COD ONLY at Ozinga's.  So we are more than half into job financially without him being even half done with the job. The concrete steps he poured lack serious quality.  After we brought this to his attention is when it all went down hill. When asked if he was happy with his work he said No, man...I see it.  Offered a solution to pour over them and said he needed 435.00 MORE.  So, we gave it to him just desperate to keep the job rolling....HE CASHED THE CHECK AND HASN'T BEEN SEEN SINCE.  6,500 into this job and our yard is tore up, we have one pad poured, steps were poured that are a joke. There is a 36x20 pad that has yet to be poured and stamped in the middle of our yard that isn't finished.  Not to mention the front yard.  He wont return phone calls or emails or text messages. He hasn't been out here to work for 3 weeks. We are left standing on sand...dirt...a mess. One of his workers hit our mailbox and it was left barely attached for weeks before we replaced it.  It's just one big joke.  His reputation, honesty and integrity mean nothing to him. We have offered to pay the concrete driver directly if he is no cash to pay them himself just to try and get him back out here.  He either avoids us or when he does communicate he promises each and everytime that he will be here the next day and never shows up. We have documented all calls, emails and texts. We have contacted the BBB but he has not responded to them either. We are taking legal action.
