Was informed that the normal process for estimates is they are performed as stop by when in the area. If I insisted on an appointment, I would have to wait a couple of weeks. I do not feel that asking for an appointment is out of the question and being told I would have to wait longer based on this request discouraged me from proceeding with this company. It is my practice to try to support local companies - How sad this did not work out.

Fine.  Dealing with LaPorte Seamless Gutter was easy and trouble-free.  They were recommended to me by another company I was also dealing with for foundation repair.  The other compay told me that LSG wasn't the cheapest...but they did excellent work, used excellent material, and were the best value.  I found all of this to be true.  Due to my job, I was unable to be there and never actually met anyone from the company.  Everything was arranged by phone.  They were totally self-sufficient and did not need to bother my tenants for anything.  They were excellent to deal with from the first telephone contact through the completion of the work and payment of the bill.  The difference in the quality of the gutters and downspouts they installed is easily visible to anyone.

Ben at LaPorte Seamless gutters was great to work with.  He communicated clearly, was professional and quick to respond to questions.  He helped me find someone who would work the portion of the rubber roof I had on my house to ensure the termination bars were correctly installed so the gutters could be hung properly. 
LaPorte Seamless gutters scheduled the work and was fast to install.  After they left, I had no idea they were there and they completely cleaned up after themselves.  The end result was great looking gutters.
No complaints and would recommend them to others.

It was easy for me to get in contact with a representative from the company. They did what they said the would for each step, from coming to have a look at the project, providing an estimate, performing the service.
I appreciated that there was no sales pitch. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and received the information I needed. It has been a very hassle-free experience, and I have no issues with the installation. It seems like a company that has built up their reputation based on their work and has maintained a focus on service.

It went very well and was done in one day and done well. Clean up was great too.

LaPorte Seamless came once to measure and discuss the covers with me. Then they returned to double check the specs and deliver a written estimate. A few days later I called to accept the estimate. Then I mailed them the signed agreement to hire them for the job.
They set a date to do the work soon after that. They showed up promptly and finished before they left. I had no leftover clean-up.

I have lots of maple tree "helicopter seeds", but so far the covers seem to be working.
