I cannot make enough positive comments. The design/sales staff was helpful, informative and not pushy. The measurement process introduced me to the patriarch of this company. What a treasure. The installation was prompt, professional and executed excellently. A later question was responded to promptly. You can feel free ask to questions and will get informative answers. What a great option to the usual "known name flooring company of Indianapolis". McCools will meet your flooring needs in a most professional manner.

We have worked with Brad Mitchell at the Avon store before. What I like about him is that you tell him what you are looking for and what your budget is and he can pick out a few options that meet the need. In our case we brought in paint samples and he helped us pick out the carpet and linoleum very quickly. We were in and out of the store in 30 minutes. They sub-contract out the flooring installation but was still able to get the flooring installed within 10 days as needed.

this was a job done out of the Carmel location. coretec installation was no problem. it was layed beginning 1/11/16. after the coretec was finished, the carpet was discovered to be incorrect. it took until 2/11 for the correct carpet was installed. store refuses a cost reduction for this long wait and disruption to our household. Store was also very lax in returning phone calls, during this problem. the answer by the secretary was always we are working on it, but our store contact rarely returned our calls.

We have used their services for other projects. Love their service , their attentions to detail. They cleaned up after themselves the floor looks wonderful. I will use them again and again. Several of my family have used their services

The pricing was reasonable. They helped us picked out the materials and to make a decision on what we wanted to do.They were punctual and professional.

I spent $2000 on that work. They were great and were good about moving things. They seemed knowledgeable and very nice. They did not crack stuff and cleaned up after themselves.

Sales at Avon store are professional, helpful, and friendly. The best part is the "regular" install person, Bill Farrell. He is dedicated, hard working, outstanding with measurements and installation; and follows up on team to be certain all is 100% perfect. I would hire Bill and recommend him to everyone.

Very helpful overall but the quote to carpet one family room was crazy high.

We are having some trouble with them the last 3 or 4 weeks. We have tried to clean the carpet and had an independent cleaner come out. The wear is still visible. When we bought the carpet the salesman told us that you need to clean it with water. McCools has come out within the last 2 or 3 weeks and did their own cleaning and it still didn't pick up the dirt.

I have used McCools in the past with great success, however this time I was less than impressed. The owner, Mr. McCool came out to do the estimate. He was early by a half hour, which was inconvenient for us. In doing the estimate, I asked to have moving furniture, removing carpet and everything included. Mr. McCool would not put the furniture moving pricing on his estimate, which I found suspicious. In addition, while their in-store carpet prices seem good, they add on for everything....carpet removal, padding, etc, even though the prices are stated as "Installed" in the store. Obviously the estimates were considerably higher than I expected, but in-line with other retailers. Mr. McCool was more interested in talking politics with my friend than he was in customer service. When I asked for a copy of the estimate, he handed it to me and said in a condescending manner "You can go and make a copy of this." I happened to have a copier, but the estimate sheet was a multi-copy sheet! I felt it was very very unprofessional. Mr McCool has transferred ownership of the company to his son. It seemed clear to me that he is not doing his son any favors by representing the company. It may be time for him to retire permanently!

Overall it went very well. The installers were very professional and polite. They did not charge as much for moving the furniture as I was quoted and did a little additional furniture moving at no charge. I did not purchase the best quality carpet since we are planning to sell our home soon, but we love the carpet that we did get and wish we had done this five years ago. If we get our house sold and into another home that needs carpet we will go directly to McCool's. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Virgil McCool came out to measure our rooms and we thourghly enjoyed out time with him. He answered every question that my wife and I had and there was absoultely to pressure to buy.

After I had selected the carpeting I wanted, Mr. Virgil McCool came to my home to measure and provide an estimate. He was delightfully cheerful and knowledgeable. The carpet arrived within a few days (I don't remember exactly how long) and was installed very quickly. I will use this company again.

They came out and measured at first. I went to the store and they gave me information on the quality and warranties and the type of carpet that would be best for all situations as far as durability was concerned. They allowed me to bring a couple of samples home to put in with my furniture to see what would work the best. They were good with the follow-up afterward. I was getting ready to purchase the carpets when the salesperson told me that if I waited until the following week, the manufacturer was going to have a rebate sale. So I waited and was able to save a lot of money. My overall experience with them was very good.

Brad was extremely helpful. He was also very friendly. They got our flooring in less than five days.

Doug and his partner called and asked to arrive early for the cleaning job. They inspected the areas and provided me with a price quote. They removed several spots, thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned the carpet in several rooms. Their work was exceptional. They took time to do things right. The carpet was nearly dry by the time they left and it looked great.
