Martin Contracting

I went to let him, and his crew of two, into our offices and found there was a misunderstanding about what we'd asked for and what he'd done for us.
So, I said...that's fine...sounds like a "he-said she-said" situation...I'll pay for your services today, but won't use you again (I thought I should tell him this as I was unhappy about his lack of concern over my concerns and I felt the quality of the work was poor).
To which he muttered something about me not getting the work he'd done today for me and then he promptly had his employee pull the work back out of the wall and he walked away. Also, he said he hoped it didn't inconvenience me too much...to which I said it had (as we're moving this week)...and then his employee cursed me on the way out the door. He offered no apology for the misunderstanding, and he threw the fact that he'd been in business 39 years in my face and talked over the top of me.
II don't say this lightly, but I was left standing their feeling absolutely flabbergast. I'd never seen a professional throw, what I would call, a tantrum and walk out. I would not have minded discussing, or even arguing, about the misunderstanding, and I had already said I would pay him for his work...meaning I would be accepted the responsibility for the misunderstanding. Maybe his perception is different, but I don't know how I could have been in the wrong on this. I am really left with the oddest feeling about the whole thing.

Kept our appointed time even though they had been very busy after tornado damage in kokomo. Came back when problem needed fixed. Still needs to come back and do some labeling. Told them could wait til
After Christmas.

The job went real good. His price was good; I had got two other estimates and his was better than the two. He cleaned up after everything. I would call him again if needed.
