The owner quoted me a high price and I was in a bind to get the tree removed. This is a small mom and pop outfit and they showed up with poor and limited equipment. They showed up and worked when I was not at home. They were able to remove my one small tree but they did not do any of the other items we discussed. When payment was made, they wanted cash only, not even wanting to leave an invoice or bill. He clearly stated he did not want any paper trail for his work. While I was making payment, the owner stated that he and other local tree removal companies had gotten together and had a meeting to fix their local fees to the 350.00 minimum price he quoted. I was shocked and told him I wouldn't be using him for anything else. I told him his fees, his price fixing, and his attitude were not professional. He was not shy about bragging and was outspoken about his exploits.

I thought that the price was very reasonable. I have recommended them to other neighbors that need either shrubs or small trees or something like that. They are very good and they cleanup totally and I was impressed. The work was done within the same week.
