Jake's Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Jake’s was incredibly reliable over the summer and ensured we always has a cool house. After such good service we requested they inspect our furnace since it had not been done in quite a few years. Mid way through their inspection they found a tiny crack in the heat exchanger. At the moment we are not in a financial situation to fix it. Additionally we plan on renovating the whole house in the coming years. Because of this, we decided not to fix the furnace at this time. After this decision the technicians removed parts from our furnace and refused to fix it the evening before it was going to be down to 19 degrees. Because of this we will never be using Jake’s again. No effort was put forward to make a temporary fix or put the furnace back to the way it was found.

They were amazing. The receptionist was very friendly and eager to get me scheduled for the gas leak repair. They sent someone within an hour to diagnose and quote the fix. The men that came to repair were kind and professional.

They did an excellent work, very courteous, they representative was more than cordial.

They installed a furnace, and they do maintenance on it.

The first two leaks were covered under my home warranty. The third leak was not and I was charged the $1200 for that repair. They were the second plumbing service that came out. The first plumbing service, they kinda did a half way job. When the gas leak wasn't fixed, they said that maybe I could get a second opinion. I said okay fine. The second opinion was Jake's Plumbing. When they came out they found 3 gas leaks, like immediately. They stayed there until about eleven o'clock at night fixing everything. They waited for the gas company to come back to make sure the gas leaks were found and fixed. I've never had anybody do something like that. They were out here for hours fixing it and then waited for the gas company to come out and check it. They gave the 100%, it was good and then they left. They are coming back, as a warranty, they are coming back once a year to check for leaks for the next two years. The largest leak was in the attic and the guy said I was lucky the whole place didn't blow up. They absolutely went above and beyond.

Excellent service - went right to work, found the problem, fixed it, and explained it all to me.

They promised to call 20-40 minutes before the plumber arrived. Instead, they called 5 minutes before he arrived and he was waiting for me after the daycare run (way too early).

The whole procedure, which was professional, took less than 20-minutes.

Then the bill arrived: all it said was "quick fix" and they charged me over $211.

I've asked more than once for a detailed invoice in order to understand why I was charged $10/minute. They have yet to provide one.

I will NOT be using this service again.

Earlier in the winter, our sump pump was running continually. Jake's came out to investigate. They diagnosed that the ejection line was frozen. We agreed to monitor and wait until the ground thawed. As the ground thawed and we were able to use the pump again, I noticed a slight issue with how it had been reinstalled. Jake's was great about quickly scheduling to come back out. They resolved the issue (no charge). The technician was also very helpful in spending additional time answering questions I had about how our pump is setup, and the water table around our house. Good information for future maintenance.

They were outstanding. The first company our home warranty sent to us didn't fix the problem, but Jake's did an excellent job.

We have used him for years.  He's a nice family guy.  Never had any problems with work he has done.  Very clean.

Fantastic job. Jared was always on time and professional. Jared from jakes heating is very knowledgeable and helpful. We had 3 companies come out to quote the work and jakes was by far the best. Highly recommend.

Morgan Coffey, the technician they sent out, was able to correctly diagnose the problem, and replace the Evaporator Coil in a timely fashion. BUT he also did a very nice job sealing and insulating different parts of our AC unit so that when I went to look at the repairs not only was our coil replaced but we no longer had jury-rigged duct tape and gloppy caulking all over the unit - he did a professional job and cleaned up other peoples mistakes that had been left over the years. I will definitely use this company again. Since this was the 2nd company sent out by our warranty provider (who didn't want to cover this expense) I didn't expect that they would be much better than the first, I was really surprised by how good the work was.

The repair technician came out on a Wed, and after working on it saw that we needed a part. He came back out on Friday and repaired it perfectly. He was friendly and on time.
Trustworthy company and we will be using them again!

After another service provider failed to return my calls, Gary came out and repaired my air conditioner the same day I called. He was very professional and had the job done quickly.

We just paid the $100 deductible. Their customer service was wonderful, probably the best I've ever had through a home warranty. They came out within three hours! They did a plumbing repair when we first moved into our home as well.

They gave a call 30 minutes before arriving and worked on our furance for a couple hours until the heat was back on. The furnace took several new parts, so they had to leave and grab them and come back. At the end of the evening everything was cleaned up and fixed. Jake who came out was very courteous and friendly explained exactly was was going on. He did a good job as well as not to track in more snow and salt.
