HomeTeam did not do a thorough inspeciton. As first time homebuyers, we were taken advantage of. Within two months of the inspection we faced thousands of dollars worth of damage due to a problem they should have identified. When confronted about this, they could not of put more of the blame on us if they wanted to. VERY unprofessional, VERY useless. Do not pay this team for an inspection - get a real inspection company or else you may end up in a very bad position like I am now.

It was great. Showed up on time and answered any questions/concerns I had.

I called around price searching and getting a feel for an inspector. In the process I spoke with at least 10 other inspectors or their office staff. Mark was the most polite, most friendly, and most professional of all the people I spoke with. He was leaps and bounds better on our intial conversation than any of the other people. Due to my realtor going out of town in the next few days Mark was able to get me worked into his schedule very quickly to accomodate my time crunch and hours. He was able to work me in the next evening. He did not require me to be there for the entire job, he requested I at least be there at the end so he could share with me his findings and show them to me to the best of his ability. I myself wanted to be there for the entire process so I arrived a few minutes after he and his partner. He introduced himself and his associate to me upon arrival (even though he was on the roof already and his associate was already inside hard at work). They used a team approach where Mark was assessing the outside of the house while his associate was assessing the inside. Once Mark was finished with the outside, crawlspace, and garage he moved into the inside with his associate. They tested every light switch, power outlet, every appliance, sink faucet, drain, etc. I was VERY impressed!!
