A wonderful experience from the moment I walked in. The lobby is large and very clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.. When I picked up my pet, after care instructions were given both verbally as well as written. My pet seemed taken care of and seemed to matter to them.
I was offered blood work for my pet prior to anesthesia, so if any abnormalities existed before surgery, we'd know about them. I was also offered the option to have a micro-chip installed. Nail-trimming services were offered, too. I opted to have my pet receive a pain shot of medication so she would be more comfortable as she recovered those first few hours after surgery - something I've never heard of any other veterinarian offering. All of these "extras" came with a cost, but I didn't feel they were overly expensive.
After the visit I was given a paper that tells me about the vet and her education/family/hobbies, as well as that she does (on occasion) make house-calls. She also treats large animals (but not horses).

It was a good experience. They have really reasonable rates. The price included pain medicine and antibiotics. He's an older dog and she did an excellent job.
