Appliance Repair
The schematics provided on the internet for the model i had showed that there was no separate parts for different serial numbers. I found another service provider who fixed the problem (a clogged drain) within an hour. AAble Appliance people, especially Aaron, are my new go-to guys for such repairs.

Appliance Repair
Called on August 22nd for service for a dryer. They said they could not
get to me until September 5th. On the 5th the guys shows up. tells me
my controls are burnt and he has to order parts. in the meantime he
dumps all the lint out of the hose and leaves it on my floor for me to
clean up.
He sets up another appointment for the next Saturday a
week later. Parts never made it before then, so the guy that comes has
to set up another appointment for the next Saturday. I get the parts.
On saturday I get a phone call two hours after they're supposed to be
at my house and they apologize but they will have to set the appointment
up again for the next monday because someone called in sick. at this
point I have lost 2 days of work because of sears.
So it's the
next monday, I don't receive a phone call telling me when they will be
here, so I go up to the store which is literally 1 minute from my
house. I get back 5 minutes later and there's a sticker on my door
saying they were sorry they missed me.
I then get on the phone with service and tell them I want a technician
here today. They didn't call me to say they were coming so I had no
inkling at all what time they were coming. Service on the phone tells
me they are sorry but they can't send the technician back and that I
would have to schedule yet again for a week later. I WILL NEVER SHOPS
SEAR AGAIN. STILL NO DRYER A MONTH LATER WITH A WARRANTY.

They were very prompt. I used them b/c they offered a warranty and a credit. I was satisfied with the work completed.
