The partial side section went quite well, with the exception of some tin he used on the trim of the third floor. I still couldn't get a reasonable reason as to why he used the tin for the money I paid him. He seemed to supervise and participate in the work for that side. On the top part of the back of the house, his workers mainly did the work. Non galvanized nails were used. I asked Mr. Hunt why they were used, and his reply was that the non galvanized ones must have gotten mixed up with the galvanized. I know this because all the facing to the back door fell off when one of my renters opened the door. It appeared that finishing nails were used in the thick facing. They did return to correct the work. Since then, other problems have occurred. I have to hire someone to come redo the job when I am able to come up with more money. On the front side, he replaced the wood around the the porch roof. He put tin on the edges, and told me that was to keep the water from ruining the wood. Never heard of that. Neighbors keep questioning me about it. I need to hire someone to remove the tin to see what is really under it. Because of the tin, I have birds making a home under it, and rain water collects in it. All the bad boards were not corrected. The last day they were there, they were using unmatched interior paint on the outside. When I questioned that, the response was that there must have been a mix up when they took it out of their truck. Some of the painting on the front of the house was sloppy. He did an OK job with the washer and dryer. His cost was $500.00. I stopped the check and told him I would have to use that money plus other money to get someone to do the exterior of the house correctly. It will cost me more than that $500. Mr. Hunt also told me that he would provide me with before and after pictures of the jobs, but he did not do so. I had also requested receipts for all materials. He did not provide those.
Description of Work: The provider removed all the wood and replaced it on one side section of my house, and on one back section of my house. I also paid him to scrape and paint and repair wood on the front of my house. The provider also moved my washer dryer lines for me and installed the washer and dryer.
